I love credit cards so much!

alright, what time is it? its learning time.... what does incognito mean. i would not want to refer others if something is better elsewhere. i hope that i didn't do that with my links.
Also - it's not a bad thing to share links on those cards. I just wouldn't recommend one of them to somebody without clearly telling them to pursue a targeted or incognito offer first. You'd never hear me tell somebody to use MY link on the SPG personal card - now if they were absolutely unable to get the 30k incognito offer to come up and still wanted the card...and choose to click my link, then I appreciate that.

Just thinking about this new Barclays Arrival Premier - no intro bonus and a high annual spend required to make it even close to worthwhile. Is this Barclays attempt to reshape the credit card industry? I know Barclays has vast experience in the European credit card market where signup bonuses are miniscule compared to the USA. If this card has any success then it will surely tempt other providers to try eliminating large signup bonuses and would be the beginning of the end for churning.

Therefore, it would seem every churner has a responsibility to ensure this card falls flat on its face.

its attracted to some people. For me, im quite interesting in it simply by its partners. I fly EVA airways quite a bit, this card is a partner(surprised) of EVA, which making it about 1.5 EVA miles per $1 spent. Could be good if there is a particular airline you fly on their list. Currently EVA is with citi with 3x on travel, 2x on dining. but it makes a good non cat driver for me if i want to fly more EVA.

Might not work for me now though since SPG is holding my non cat spot. YMMV. also hate you all for hating this card... :P

Incognito is a mode within your browser that allows you to visit websites without cookies tracking you.

Guys - I think we're in a funk here... SPG and Delta increased offers were long ago... CIC increased offer is old news now... Barclay new card kinda stinks... IHG changes are bad news... Southwest devaluation is bad news... And we haven't really had any exciting newbies jump into our thread where we all get excited for their newfound churning love.

We need something big, LOL! Where's that increased CSR offer when we need it? Why can't AMEX release some details on their new SPG/Marriott cards...give us something here to excite the masses :) haha!
Don’t worry I’m certain it will pick up in two weeks while I’m at DW! Every trip we take it takes two weeks to catch up LOL so I’m sure there will be another 20+ pages soon :-)

Threats also work. My DH is much better since I threatened him with coach while the rest of us fly up front. Seriously.

Oh believe me, I've done that too. Of course, my DH's reaction will probably be that if he can't fly Business or First, he isn't going to Africa, but that actually works for me too. His staying home = significant dollars saved, lol. I do think that threat is what led him to label his own cards, but he missed the part about parking = travel = use the CSR for travel....

Awww - don't leave him behind lol. Now I feel sad...

They have both gotten way too spoiled. DH says same thing! And my response was same as yours :) he should know better than to try to call my bluff (I.e. I don’t bluff).

That's even better... I mostly do Starbucks at home because of the reward program and the lack of local places...

Good to know. My vast SPG hotel experience is the Dolphin (Starbucks) and the Four Points LAX (not sure what, but passable). Maybe snobby isn't the right word for my coffee drinking... I'm just not a fan of the really cheap stuff they put in hotels sometimes so I take Starbucks VIA packets... I can't do Folgers, etc either. I also travel with my own creamer...

I travel with my own Tassimo coffee maker to Disney because I can't stand the coffee.

Don't worry. It won't actually happen. He's all talk when it comes to staying home and then caves. This happened with our 2016 trip to China (not over the method of travel, just about the destination in general), but FOMO gets him every time. And he always ends up enjoying our trips.

You going?

yeah, my parent's friend has a timesharing of 2 weeks there. she doesnt like going much anymore, she didnt go the last 3 years. now shes offering it to us.
I just checked KE for flights, but they are all 15+ travel times with stops from LAX --> SFO --> SEA --> LIH. (maybe i can lounge hop!?!?! lol)

that or ill just send my parents since i guess its a 1 bed only. haha. bring a sleeping bag?

In my experience the 1BR almost always have a sofa sleeper.

If you're bored, you can offer an opinion on my DH's Hilton upgrade offer on page 1089. :wave2:
