I love credit cards so much!

Ouch!! I'd have fallen for that! (I totally understand if you don't want to answer my q and fall down that Hole of Despair again) Did you file complaints with the credit bureaus that your installment plan was being reported incorrectly as a CC?
I did not, I assumed it was me missing it when I read through their app and disclaimer. I think a similar situation has happened to a few other DISer's here, probably not in as a critical churning point as me. The company is Wells Fargo in case anyone is considering a free interest deal.

This. I PC'ed my CSP to the CS and I have no clue what to do with it! I PC'ed my CSR to the CFU so good there. I have been an AU'er on my dh's CF since 2006 and it's rare we max out the categories so I don't really need another. So, that Sapphire is just sitting there with 28k CL on it...??
I don't actually want the no fee Sapphire, I want the CFU but I was told here that I couldn't pc the CSP directly to the CFU, that I have to pc to the regular Sapphire first.

I know quite a few of you have the SPG Amex Business. I already have the SPG Personal. Is there any difference as far as benefits? Upgrades, etc?

Besides the lounge access that @Albort pointed out, the SPG business card also gets Amex Open savings. So you get 5% off at select retailers like Fedex, Hertz, HP, Barnes & Noble and 1800flowers

Also paging @calypso726 since she saw the Northern Lights in Iceland last year.

It was one of the most beautiful sights I'd ever seen. Mostly because I was finally able to show DH what it looks like when I see a person's aura. Yes, I've been able to see them ever since I can remember. No, I have no clue what they mean and have never had a desire to find out. I don't see how can anyone know for sure anyhow. And no, I don't have synesthesia either. But if you have ever heard someone talk about a person's aura and wondered what it is they see, take a look at the northern lights. Same characteristics and many of the same hues and they move the same way. It was incredibly cathartic to be able to provide a reference for something I've been able to see my whole life but have never been able to describe to anyone.

I am planning to go back again in 2019 or 2020 so I am looking at my options and trying to plan. If you aren't being held hostage by an airline seat princess who insists on lie flat seats, then there are plenty of great options to get there. Iceland air is pretty reasonable and allows stopovers for up to a week to anywhere they fly in Europe. So, you can combine 2 trips into one flight. We stayed at the Hilton Nordica, breakfast was included with our room and thanks to having gold status via one of the various Amex Platinum cards we were upgraded to club level. This allowed us to eat most of our lunch and dinner meals at the club lounge. Food is expensive in Iceland so this was a huge savings. When you stay on Hilton points for 4 nights, you get the 5th night free.

DP: My mom had the CSP for a number of years and picked up the CSR before the no 2 Sapphire cards rule went into effect. Last month, I called Chase on her behalf and had no problem getting her CSP PCd to a CFU.

Is the extra savings in store only? If not, is there a special code to add when checking out? DH just ordered something from BN last night using my new Amex SPG Biz.

I don’t think so. I’ve never paid much attention to it to be honest. I’ve just been pleasantly surprised when I see the savings show up on my statement.

At work yesterday, DH found out he's probably going to Fullerton, CA for a few days. So we should probably make a trip out of that, right? :)

I have a problem...

Not at all, if you have the time and can spare the points that's the best way to go... when someone else pays for the room and half of the airfare/meals/car :) More DL money for you!

Just put a $1700 bill on my new Marriott card. Up to $1820 spent towards MSR in the week I've had it now!

CIP, I'm coming for you next...

:) I'm $400 away from finishing my CIP minimum spend. My next target is Amex SPG Biz:)

I just finished my CIP spending and am patiently (not) waiting for whatever SPG Biz is going to maybe do next month so I can move on to it.

Remember to go through TopCashBack and get 2.5% back.

Has anyone used this to book a hotel through Hilton. I haven't used this site at all. Looks like we could get 1% back, but then does that preclude us from receiving honors points? I know if you book through Expedia, etc, you can't get honors points, but not sure about a cash back portal.

I've used the Ebates cash back portal when booking Hilton directly through their website, and I've gotten both cash back and HH points for the stay. It did take a while after our stay for the cash back to credit to my account, but I did get both.

So 31,365 for 682.50...hmmmmm....
I didi this the last sale they had...... I can't say I'm not tempted again...but I think we can't add any more purchased points since e did the last one...or is it calendar year adding?(since it's 2018 now)
