Do you know what part of December? My friend applied right before Christmas and she hasn't gotten her
points either. When i called they said apps around Christmas are "behind". Hmmm

Barclay is usually on the ball for me.
I know DH got his maybe mid December. I'll have to look at the statement tonight to confirm. It was definitely before Christmas.

The Ameriprise is churnable. I was told to wait 15 days in between is fine... the only downside to it is that it will hurt your 5/24 quicker. you be +1 every year. To be honest, this is probably gonna be my next card, only card left in chase would be CIP but i already have a CI+. I think Chase points are easy to earn so i kinda want to focus on other cards. Ameriprise is strictly for status and benefits.
I agree with this. I got the Ameriprise in January and have made good use of the benefits despite no sign up bonus.

I love jetblue but the card annoys me. I applied end of Dec. Received the card a week later. Met the minimum a week
after that and still haven't received the points! It is almost March. Contrast this to my Amex that i received before
the statement even ended.

I'm really surprised at Barclay as i have their Hawaiian and arrival card and bonuses posted promptly.

*By the way after speaking to a card rep you have to pay the annual fee first which isn't applied until your
SECOND statement. Then after that closes they have 4-6 weeks to post your points. Tak about
stretching it out!
So you're saying that bc I paid it all including the af, I now have to wait another month to get the points? Ugh- but they do post eventually right?

If you've been promised points for an offer, completed the requirements and don't receive what you were promised and the company doesn't resolve the issue file a complaint via the CFPB against financial organization that made the promise. (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.)

Well another poster said she and her husband got theirs right away. I still haven't received mine nor a friend of mine who
apped a week before me.

Barclay is usually not like this so i don't know whats up.

I may try calling in then..... it just seems strange thanks for the info tho.

I'm looking frantically thru my computer screenshots for that offer I used (it was 60k) and I can't find it (i guess my computer is also disorganized?) I've never not recieved the proper offer for a card before..well I found the screenshots at least! I had them filed under jb app(duh)

I applied November 28th, statement closed on Dec 27 and 60,000 points posted. DH applied beginning of December, statement closed on December 28-no points because he did not pay annual fee. Points finally posted 1/28/18 after annual fee paid.

Ok my Af posted 1/31, so I paid it in this statement due date, maybe it was technically on the next one.... Ok I can see what might have happened- it closed on the 26th...so technically I paid it already but its' next months statement...thank you for all the help figuring this out!

For those wanting some fast math the new 60K offer with AF on the CSP will net $5 more if you cash out your points, $30 more if you redeem for travel at at 1.25x. Obviously this makes more sense than the 50K no AF offer no matter what way you slice it! Increased offers are very exciting so I want to caution people to not get too excited if you are in 2 player mode and both plan to get a CSP! Player one should do the 60K + AF offer but Player 2 should not because the referral offer is still live at 50K no AF + 10K referral bonus.
My math on new offer for player 2 vs when referred by player 1:
60K UR - $95 AF = $655 if redeemed for travel / $505 cash
50K UR + 10K UR referral = $750 if redeemed for travel / $600 cash
All that said this only applies to today, right now. The referral offer could change too, who knows?

Yes, that's likely what happened. I paid the annual fee before I even got the card. It posted that fast..lol

No love for Citibank? I rarely hear people talking about this bank. I will be sitting on 50,000 Thank you points in about 2 months. Any ideas on what to do with them? I see they have 11 transfer partners. Any Citi experts in the building?

I burned off my Citi points back in October to stay at Caribbean Beach for Food and Wine fest. Got 5 nights for 90k points I believe. DH had the Prestige. We canceled it since they devalued the lounge and golf access. TYP definitely have their place and don't get much love. If you have a student loan you can get a check cut to your issuer too - so that would be a free $500 student loan payment...

I was going to apply for the Cap One Venture tonight (well, for DH) but now I feel compelled to wait to see if the CSR increases. Decisions, decisions.
