I want to say a big thank you to anyone who used my Disney Visa link! I know one gal who let me know that she did but someone else has as well. It may not be a DIS'er as I posted on that DOC thread when @SouthFayetteFan mentioned it but I was really late to getting my link up. Anyways, if you read this and you used my link, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!
Love it!! How did you find out your link was used? Did the rewards points show when your statement closed? Someone had said they used my link and were approved but I haven't seen anything yet, think you're the first DP!
(Btw, DoC link processing is weird for new posters but now that you're in if you use the same name and email next time your link/comment should go right through since your username & email are now "approved".)

Yes, the statement closed and the reward dollars posted!!

Good to know about DOC’s site.

Ugh I thought I’d be able to use Apple Pay on Disney’s website, but I can’t. Need to buy one day tickets today. Dis eh store doesn’t sell one day tickets. Tickets through Disney don’t code as travel. Was hoping my husbands new cip would have arrived to start the minimum spend, but it hasn’t.

I have a csr, cfu, cf, cip and discover it available. Which would be the best one to use? Or any place in store I could buy a $500 disney gift card today? Staples with Apple Pay? I don’t have a bjs nearby.
Undercovertourist.com codes as travel. You can use CSR
Best Buy with Chase Pay with CF

Do the Cashstar deal for Best Buy gift cards (Buy $150 eGift card, get $15 savings code) using CIP for 3x UR; take the Best Buy eGift cards in store to buy Disney Gift Cards; scan Ibotta, Shopkick, or Swagbucks; receive Best Buy savings codes in a few weeks? At least ~10-15% savings this way.

Staples and Best Buy also have Apple Pay. Target has Apple Pay in app. All three sell Disney Gift Cards. 5x UR back through CF+Apple Pay.

Congrats! Very happy for you - I also reaped the benefit of a couple referrals from either DoC, DISchurners or r/churning.

I used your link to apply for the SPG Business card, and I have a question. Do you get credit only if the person is approved, or do you still get credit if the person applies but is denied?

I'm asking because my approval notification (if that's what it was) was a little strange. I won't go into the somewhat lengthy details unless necessary, but I'm not entirely sure I was approved. if your link was recently used (and you only get credit for approvals) then it will reassure me that I probably was approved. I've got some big expenses to make very soon and if the SPG card is not on its way then I want to try for a different card, or look into why I wasn't approved.

First - thanks for using my link :)

You only get points for approvals. I don't recall any recent points posting but don't let that discourage you.

You can check here: https://www262.americanexpress.com/eaol/welcome.do To see if you were actually approved.

You're welcome! You've been incredibly helpful to me (as has everyone else here!) so I'm happy to have the chance to return the favor.

And thanks for the link. I was approved, so I'm not waiting in vain for my new card to arrive, haha. It was a very strange approval notification, though.

ME TOO!!! I could live in Utah . . .

Any ideas of how to stay at National Park lodges on points? We tend to pay out of pocket for those since we love them so much!
We just came back from Zion and parts of the Grand Staircase Escalante. I think you need to use the Arrival Plus or Venture card to erase the hotel charges.

Getting kind of late in the day for this but just buy a $500 in store at bestbuy using Apple/chase pay. I bought one there yesterday
( but I used gift cards)

Just applied and approved for the Citi Thank you Premier. 50,000 points for $4,000 spend within the first 3 months. No annual fee year one. Should be easy to meet minimum spend since I have a camp payment due by March 31 and the balance of our Disney trip. This is my first Citibank card.

Are you worried about opening a new credit card? If you are trying to save slots for other credit cards I get it but if not the current offer on the Premier is spend $500 get a $200 Disney gift card. You can hold both the no AF Disney and the AF one at the same time.
That’s a good point, and I’m not really worried about saving slots. I did just apply for the Marriott Biz though so want to see if I’m approved for that before I’d put in another app with Chase.

The current offer I’m finding on the Premier is a $200 statement credit, not a GC. Is the GC offer through referral? Everyone on the reddit group only has referrals for the no AF version.

I'm looking for some advice on a cash back card. I am heading to Disney for a long weekend in 3 weeks and I would like to get a cash back card to help erase some of the costs for tickets and meals. I have UR points and I was planning to take a stmt credit but I think I could make better use of them on a future trip. I am currently 5/24 all in the past year. SW 4/17, CSP 4/17, SW 6/17, CIP 9/17, Marriott 11/17, Barclay Aviator 11/17.
I was considering CO Venture, BOA Premium Rewards or Barclay Arrival Plus. I just thought I would ask here first.

No referrals for that one. Sweet that it's a statement credit now! It was a GC when I did it, statement credit is much nicer, no waiting for the mail!
