Yep, i also posted a week or so after I tried myself at a local WM and had no issues running 2K through. It almost felt easier lol. The cashier was extremely chatty.

On another note, joining the dance party because I was just approved for the CIC after submitting the app last night!

This will be my third and I guess credit lines weren’t an issue this time since I got 12K. I did proactively lower the limit on the Marriott Biz I got in February though to $2.5K, so I’m at 50% now between personal and business. My stats are 3/24, with a CIP in 7/17, and the Marriott Biz 2/18. Now time to figure out if I want the Plat or another card before I cool it for a bit to try for CP after ours through DH expires this year.

WooHoo! CONGRATULATIONS!! Welcome to the three Chase biz cards club!!!

I had the same verification question but for Amex cards - the correct answer could have been 3 out of the 4 options they provided. I took a guess.

@amalone1013 - did you receive any email confirmation of your savings acct? I applied yesterday - got the account number at the end of the app, but didn't receive any emails and can't see the account online.
I just checked and I did get a Welcome to DiscoverBank.com email

Man. I’m striking out today. I can’t get the Hilton biz account info and so far have been turned down for the courtesy points. I plan on huca maybe after dinner tonight.

Is it possible to pay plastiq with mc gc?

Anyone know if tickets purchased via Ticketmaster.com code as travel for the CSR? I just purchased tickets to see Hamilton in NYC at $214 a piece times 4. Would love to get 3UR for it... We are doing a NYC trip next spring break instead of Disneyworld. Already booked the Intercontinental Times Square for 70,000 ihg points. Cash prices are $611 a night for our dates.

I can't help with hotels because we stayed in Buffalo and did "day" trips over to the falls when we visited, but I will say if you want a view of the falls from your hotel room then book the Canadian side. Because the falls are in the US you only get a kind of side view. I imagine from a tall hotel you'd get a top down view. The best view of the falls head on is from Canada.

When I can get to the pictures I can post the differences.
Thanks. Which hotel did you decide on and would you recommend it.

Congratulations! I get so excited hearing about these approvals.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Fallsview, in a falls view room. It's on the Canadian side. It was not budget, but it did include a huge breakfast, and the view was absolutely incredible!
I am sure you could still enjoy visiting without that, it was just something we wanted to do. There were fireworks over the falls so it was beautiful to be able to watch them from our room (HUGE windows and chairs in front of them). In general though, there is much much more to do on the Canada side than the US Side.
Sounds nice. Am I correct to say that accessing Canada side from the US is not a challenge as long as you have your passports, right?

No, it wasn't a huge deal. That said, I wouldn't really want to do it several times throughout the trip, if you were needing to go back and forth.

Quick off topic (Oh wait nevermind its just several people's 'businesses'), those who sell their old kids clothes on eBay do you have any pointers you could PM me? I have 5 yrs worth of DD's clothes DW was going to get rid of because she does not want to do a garage sale so I figured why not start another 'business' :D I already co-run a big web store so have all the USPS boxes/packaging supplies but thinking it'd be best to go with bags as those ship cheaper but I've never used them with my current products as nothing would arrive in tact. Its been years since I've sold anything on eBay so figured I'd give it a go again.

We stayed at the Wyndham Garden Buffalo Williamsville, but we were attending an event in Buffalo and combined it with a visit to the falls. It wasn't far, but if your main goal is the falls I'd stay closer. That said, it was a nice hotel and it had what we were looking for - an onsite day spa with comfortable rooms for a reasonable price. We went with my mom who doesn't vacation much so she wanted a spa day and all the niceties for her birthday trip.

No problems with passports, it can just be a long wait in line over the bridge. My mom doesn't have a passport but I had some business to attend to in Canada. So I figured we'd pop over, take care of the errand grab pics of the falls for mom, meanwhile mom could check out the rest of the park and aquarium then we'd all do Maid in the Mist. Well my timing for the errand and pictures was about right but didn't count on how long it'd take us back and forth on the bridge, so instead of meeting her by the docks we had to pick her up at one of the casinos because she'd seen and done everything interesting at the park! She started to wonder if we left her there like a cat on the side of the road

Ok guys since I started my spending on the CSR and have the $300 travel credit.
Is the travel credit per calendar year?
So can I get a $300 now and another $300 credit next year?

Will Home Depot let me buy Disney gift cards with HD GC? If not, I am always doing house projects too. :) Thanks!

I recall someone in this thread reported yes.

@thevalley cant find your post so im quoting this one. yes, it works. but it wont charge as debit, it charges as credit, so it will charge the 2.5%.
i dont think that masterpass would work with it either.

No.

The CSR travel credit used to be a calendar year benefit, but CSRs issued on or after 5/21/17 have a travel credit based on cardmember year.

I do this all the times and for years. Hereare my pointers:

Take really good pictures with great details. More the better.
Bundle into small lots as much as possible. Like 3-4 out fits or all shirts, all shorts etc...
Do your homework and see what similar name brands and lots are selling for.
Say free shipping but have that in your start off bidding prices.
Always set it up for auto relist. And do short time period like 4 days.
In title put size, brand and gender.

I usually end up selling about 80% of what I put on there.
