I love credit cards so much!

I'm getting ready for my CSR/CSP double dip and just want to check on a few things. I'm going for the CSR first because I really want the 1.5x. My son wants to go to Universal and how can I say no? My family says I'm crazy to keep going back to the same places over and over, but with a picky 19 year old and a 2 year old I feel Disney and Universal suit us just fine right now. I have a question about the double dip on the TC. How soon can I use it? I would like to use it for August. I'd also like to go to Disney in May 2019 for Flower and Garden while I will still have companion pass. Would that be my double dip of the TC, and then I call to PC the card and get a partial refund?

On another note, I just spent a night at a local Sheraton hoping to take advantage of the lounge access with my SPG Biz before it goes away. The website said they did indeed have a lounge that had breakfast, 24 hour drinks, and appetizers in the evening. When I checked in , I was told they were converting to a Four Points and did not have any food in the lounge, only water and coffee. I politely said that was false advertising and I booked it expecting breakfast. They did give me two vouchers for free breakfast at the restaurant on site. I then went up to the "lounge" to get some water and found the cooler completely empty. I called the front desk to make them aware and they said they would restock it. By the time I left the next morning there still was not one bottle of water. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows the best way I could contact someone about this.

I know there was some talk here last week of the Prime Membership increasing to $119. I received an email from Amazon telling me my Prime Membership would renew in August at the $99 price and beginning August 2019 would renew at $119. Just thought I would pass along in case someone may have gotten a similar email and missed it.

Also happy to chat with you about your experiences and going forward. If you had told me in law school that I'd be doing what I'm doing right now, I never would have believed you!

I agree. Law school sucked but I really like what I am doing now. There are options that don't include selling your soul to a law firm and having no life.

Lucky you. My Prime also renews in August - I received an email a few days ago advising me that my Prime will renew at the new price of $119.

Darn! I'm wondering if maybe it is because my original renewal date was May? I had gotten 3 months free for late deliveries.

My dad did the same for me when I was a teen. I started working when I was 16 and anything that I put into my Roth IRA, he matched 100%. I think I put a couple thousand dollars in, so I had about $6k when I started college. It was nice to already have my account set up when I graduated law school. I make sure to max my Roth every year now.

We are doing the same thing for our girls. It is nice for them to have some money saved in a Roth at their ages and have time on their side.

Is it possible for anyone that is filmilarized with the amazon reload to post how to do here or on reddit. Please. I just opened a Wells Fargo checking account and have to do 10 debit card transactions for 3 months straight. Thank you.
Watch it be something simple that I’m missing. Thanks again.

Go to amazon, go to your account, under wallet go to manage giftcard balance, then reload your balance. Add the new card, and under any amount enter .50 cents. You can vary the amounts if you want. You have to go and do it 10 times. Make sure you enter the amount you want every time you do it. I almost did a reload for the default once which is $100

ETA: I think Wells Fargo will keep the account fee free for a few months in the beginning. Id just confirm when the fee would kick in.

Thank for the reply. A little embarrassed to ask this but do I have to have a gift card to start this? Do I buy one on Amazon or at the grocery store.

No you don’t need to buy a giftcard at the store. You are basically buying 10 .50 Amazon giftcards online with your wellsfargo card. With Amazon you are allowed to add giftcards to your account or you can add a certain amount of money with a card to your Amazon wallet. So you are reloading your wallet with your Wells Fargo card to an Amazon Wallet and then you can use that money on amazon later and it’s classified as a giftcard balance.

Wow. Sounds so easy. Thanks for your help.

I plan to do this for my own kids as well when the time comes. It really was such an amazing gift and really motivated me from a young age to start thinking about things like finances and retirement. When I started my first job out of school, I already knew to set aside some money each month into my Roth. I bet many people my age haven't even started.

Is the 500 points for going paperless targeted? My DW got the same offer on her CSP. I on the other hand have 4 chase cards and got nada lol.

All of these CIP and CIC approvals have me really chomping at the bit to apply for the CIC for DH! But I am forcing myself to wait until Thursday to maximize the number of days between his CIP approval on 3/21 and the CIC app. I did proactively lower the CL on his CSP from $35k to $10k a few weeks ago, so I'm hoping that will help. He only got a $9k CL on his CIP, so it seemed Chase was starting to reign in his overall CL. We aren't using the CSP anyway because I have a CSR with a very generous CL.
