I find it really tricky to use. I used it once when they were running a deal. Then I went to use it again and the second $10 credit wasn't there. Mabye I'm misunderstanding what I'm getting with my CSR.
The InstaCart was certainly easier as you paid for it with the card and that got a credit on your bill.

With DoorDash you have to click on promos and then at the very bottom you should see a $10 credit.

Unfortunately you can only use one promo per checkout.

I had some savings success today! DD was whining that she wanted to wait to go back to college on monday instead of tomorrow morning. Her Monday class is cancelled. I told her I'd try but wouldn't do it if it cost too much. 15 min of work and I was able to get her a direct flight on American using Quantas points. 12,000 points for a $500 flight and I was able to cancel her SW flight and get back 16,000 points. I told her she had to pay for her own checked luggage:p

Also, thanks for whoever posted the Rakuten/CVS tip! I grabbed a Disney gift card in store today using my Chase 10% + Rakuten.

Oh, that's what I missed lol. Thank you for the screenshot because now I get it!

Leave it my husband…he didn’t used the trusted traveler line because he didn’t want to walk around a corner to get to the line.

He’s off to AWS re:Invent where it feels like many of the events are for adults like half his age. (He did try to get out of going but his boss is speaking on a panel & made him go).

I gave up on DoorDash for groceries. Must be a different group of shoppers because I did 2 or 3 orders and every one of them had multiple errors. Plus I usually do pick up with Instacart which I don't see as an option for DoorDash. I have no problem with DoorDash for restaurants.

I’m just starting to dabble more with AA after being a loyal SWA customer. Debating purchasing some points to have an additional stash. Is it 50% no matter the amount or do you have to purchase 450K to get the 50%?
Yes, 450K to get 50%
I decided against buying any miles, after all. Too much money to get the better discounts.

so I got my Acer Chromebook (199 Costco bf deal) so far I like it fine, basic computing needs....the only issue I'm having is connecting to my printer and I need to take a minute to figure it out..... If I can;t fix it,I may return it but otherwise it's fine for basic stuff overall
you can setup google print it works from phones it should be the same app.

Not all printers work well with ChromeOS. I've used a Chromebook as my primary portable computer for 4-5 years. There is a list out there of printers that work well with Chromebooks, most of the cheap ones aren't on that list. I've taken to saving anything I need to print and then using my Windows desktop to print, or plugging the Chromebook directly into the printer.
ahh i just assumed it was a watered-down android

Ack, I have no MSR at the moment. I would love to have one by the Target 10% off this weekend. Does anyone besides Chase biz, expedite cards? I think we are dead to Chase. I have 4 open biz, so not even going to try. P2 and 2, and got the 7-10 day message.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, DISCHURNERS!

Is anyone else here planning a trip to Japan? If I'm not the only one maybe we could share some booking/planning info. I'm in uncharted territory (Europe seems so much easier for some reason) and would appreciate some company. :)
I'm planning a couple of Japan trips for next year! Flights are booked, but the rest of the trips are still in progress - some hotels/accommodation have been booked but there are still many nights not yet booked.

Current things I'm trying to do
- Find hotels in Osaka/Kyoto that accommodate 3 people
- Get a Tokyo Disney vacation package (probably for TDH) when bookings open for the date I need...
- Figure out how to book the Shinkansen with luggage reservations

It's possibly a bit easier for me as I live in Singapore which is just a 6-7 hour flight from Japan, and a lot of people I know have been to Japan this year (or are currently in Japan, or have trips to Japan planned) - it's an extremely popular holiday destination here!

But I've only ever been to Tokyo (and this was many years ago), so I'm still slowly figuring out stuff like reserving Shinkansen tickets, Suica cards, as well as what to do in Osaka/Kyoto/Nara/Kobe. Plus what to do in Tokyo as well! I got a Lonely Planet guidebook but still haven't read it yet...

And even Tokyo Disney is confusing - took me a couple of nights to figure out vacation packages... and I just spent the last hour trying to learn about all the restaurant options on the vacation packages so I can decide which ones to go for!

Anyone able to pull up the Amex Business Gold 200K/$10K MSR offer?
All I'm getting in the $15K MSR

I recently got a US Bank triple cash. My first and only US bank card. When I log in online it shows two accounts. One is Business credit card with the last 4 of my card number. The other is central bill account with a different 4 numbers. The available credit is different on the two accounts. Looks like I can only make payments on the central billing one, the transactions are the same. Can anyone explain how their system works?

I have been trying to figure that out myself. I have two US Bank biz cards, and the other one is not like this.
You only need to pay attention to the central bill account. That's where your actual balance will be and where you make payments. The other account will zero out each month when the statement closes. The central bill account doesn't do this which leads to the difference between the two.

Just a dp. I used a chase offer last week and two amex on two different cards. I got an email from chase the day after that I'd used it. I never got an email from amex.

I also used my flight credit on the Aspire last week and never got an email. All 3 of the Amex have credited though.

Normally I at least get emails when I use an Amex offer so it was a bit concerning at first.
