Ds and I are going in January. It will be my 3rd time this year and 4th time total (first trip in 2019)! I LOVE visiting Japan!

We will be starting with 3 nights in Singapore at the Conrad, then flying to Tokyo on Singapore Air. We'll be at the Hyatt House Shibuya for 4 nights, then taking a taxi to Tokyo Disney for 2 nights (FSH with unlimited package). Then heading to Osaka for 5 nights at the Conrad with day trips to Hiroshima, Kyoto and Kobe. Ds and I are both very excited for this trip!
I need to figure out FSH. I just read a blog on it and it sounds like it would make sense for us because I was planning on doing two nights in May.

My current plan is to fly into Tokyo, five nights at Tokyo Hilton, two nights at Disney (Mira Costa), then two nights at Conrad Osaka. I really wish I had one more night but we're working around a school schedule.

That’s the part I’m having trouble with, finding them at discount. lol
I am able to buy discounted gc throughout the year to pay for my dvc dues. Right now I have about half saved for 2025. You just have to keep looking. As @eticketplease said - the discounted card page is a good place to look. Right now:

BJs has their physical gift cards on sale. I am not getting these since I have a good head start to next year and know I can do better than their current discount, even on sale. If BJs should send me a $10 coupon while these are still on sale, I will probably get the minimum amount needed for the coupon.

There are several offers on a few of my Chase cards for 10% back at CVS. The max is $5. So I could buy a $50 gift card for $45. I think I have this offer on three of my cards. So that's three more $50 gift cards to add to what I already have.

I have around $50 in rewards on my Disney Visa that I plan to apply to my DVC balance. I don't use this card often - only when there is a good offer or they have a 5% bonus category.

I most likely won't have all my dues covered by Jan 15 when my first payment is due. But when the dues post to my account, I will pay with the cards I have (combined onto one main card). This will push off my next payment until June or July. I know I will find opportunities to buy discounted cards before then. And if not - there is the Target 5% with the Red Card.

Just a tip don’t transfer to the rewards card. Make a payment with the card to earn a few extra Disney $$ and then use pay yourself back to wipe the charge. I generally make a little bit larger charge than what I have in rewards to account for the 1% back, wait for the statement and points to post and then wipe it out.

Thank you. I didn't realize PYB was on the Chase Disney. I will do this.

We buy Disney gift cards every time we have a Chase offer. Right now, there is 5-10% off Office Depot, Kroger, and CVS, so we have about 20 offers between all our cards for both me and DW. We pay our annual DVC dues, cruises, and park trips with them. Can never have too many.

CVS is on Rakuten In-store % off…so make sure your cards are listed…% varies …today it’s 12%

does CSP give free Instacart+ membership, and that free year of peacock tv? or is it only once? I set it up last January, but I'll likely pc csr-csp in December. will I then be able to get 6 months Instacart+,and that free tv year? or is that expired
Replying to self b/c I'm not being clear:bitelip: what I'm wondering is if I pc to CSP afterDecember, will that include the peacock tv,or should I buy at the discounted rate for bf?

Yes. Loving the in-store cash back from Rakuten. You also have to remember to re-add the offers - but they usually email to remind this.

Is there a trick to getting the cards to link? I have the cc added to my account, but when I go to link cards it always gives me an error "This offer cannot be linked at this time. Please try again later." I've tried logging off/on, and deleting the app and reinstalling.

I still can’t seem to find any discounted cards, but I will use my Disney card to pay my dues so hopefully that helps. :)

Are they still offering InstaCart? I thought they were getting rid of that benefit and switching to Door Dash

We are planning for May, too. :)

Do you have to link it each time between purchases? Or can you do them back to back (if CVS clear will allow)?
They send you an email to relink after a purchase….sometimes i have noticed it stays linked other times I have to add it back on so who knows…..but I have never done any back to back the same day purchases

@mmmears booking FSH was easy -- I posted my tips on the Tokyo Disney board. I had done many trial runs during the daytime and read various posts on how to book. I woke up around 2:45am on the morning I needed to book and had logged into the TD website to search dates -- by doing this I was somehow able to avoid the queue at 3am. I had booked my package and meals by 3:15am and went back to bed. I was only able to get fantasy garden view (theme park view was not available), but I am fine with this. the next morning FSH was still available, but fantasy garden rooms were gone. Within 2 days all FSH unlimited packages were sold out.

I can't believe the package is only 1 night now; I am glad that we have 2 nights.

Ds and I are excited for the unlimited package. When I was at Disney Sea in January I spent a good part of my day on my phone booking FPs (sorry I'm old school!); I'm glad that I can enjoy my time in the parks more now. Plus will be nice to have time to sit down and eat instead of eating in the line for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (what I did in January).

No idea…I have 2 cards that no matter what I do to try and link them for in store purchases it keeps saying they are not eligible….the rest linked without any issues
