I recently got a US Bank triple cash. My first and only US bank card. When I log in online it shows two accounts. One is Business credit card with the last 4 of my card number. The other is central bill account with a different 4 numbers. The available credit is different on the two accounts. Looks like I can only make payments on the central billing one, the transactions are the same. Can anyone explain how their system works?

It's that time of year again, where I try to decide if I keep both the CSP and CSR. Last year I had to keep the CSR because I had my Ireland flights on it, which we did cancel. This year I booked them on the CSP. I'm debating if I want to keep the CSR for lounges. If the Cap 1"pre-approval' isn't giving me the venture X as an option, is it a safe assumption I'm not gonna score that?

Is the suggestion still to downgrade the CSR to a freedom? (Can I do a CFU? I don't have one of those). But before then, try to use the $300 credit right? Then later I could upgrade the CSP if I wanted, right? With the $20 Door Dash (we have DashMart), I'm almost considering keeping both. I normally place the 3 $10 orders and pick them all up (I get exciting things like TP or paper towels). So if they $20 credit stays, that covers the AF.

In the app, I can see it. I go to Benefits and rewards, scroll down and see Check out your benefits activity and tap on Used.

Then mid page I can see this

Mine doesn't show my annual credit. It just shows when my GE resets...I'm thinking my $300 resets next month though.

Yes they sent me a an offer for an extra 6% back at Walmart plus the normal 1%.

After clicking on the link, I was able to buy a Walmart GC and then use it at Sam’s Club. It used to be a pain but now the scan and go app will let you use GC.

Edit: mine was also maxed out at $1K spend

Edit 2: Since DD doesn’t use it much make sure she activated the 5% at Target and Amazon. I would just buy GC there for things you would use and pay contractor with cash or eat the 3% if working on a large Minimum Spend amount
This is an old student card (her first cc) so it doesn't get the 5% categories. That card would be much more useful. Do you know if she can product change to that card?

Sorry I'm not familiar with that.

Anyone else know if you can product change Discover Student to Discover It for @DogCat ?

I have been trying to figure that out myself. I have two US Bank biz cards, and the other one is not like this.

USB is inquiry sensitive. They pull Transunion for most people, which is usually not what Chase pulls. Not sure if the exact criteria is known, but DH has been approved with 1/6 inquiries with no relationship.
I guess I am the odd person. Chase specifically listed Transunion as what they pulled in my CIP denial letter.

What I found online says the “central billing” is a place to see all employees spend and the only place to pay. I just don’t get why, when I only have the one card, the balances and available credit would be different. It’s very confusing!

You guys are a wealth of information and advice, so i figure my best bet is to ask y'all.

I had a capital one Walmart card which they changed to a quicksilver a few months ago. I got a notice I can switch it to a different card for free, if I wanted. Just wanted opinions on which would give me the best 'bang for my buck' out of the 3. Limit and apr are the same on all.

Quicksilver: 1.5% cash back on any purchase, no annual fee
Venture: 1.5 miles on every dollar spent, no annual fee
Savor: 3% back on dining, entertainment, popular streaming, and grocery stores, plus 1% back on everything else. No annual fee.

I'm leaning on switching to the Savor, but wanted opinions from everyone else. We don't do much flying so I'm not really considering the Venture unless I'm missing something about it.

does CSP give free Instacart+ membership, and that free year of peacock tv? or is it only once? I set it up last January, but I'll likely pc csr-csp in December. will I then be able to get 6 months Instacart+,and that free tv year? or is that expired

Has anyone charged TSA precheck to their Amex Plat since it started being processed by Clear? I didn't do the bundle, I signed up for Clear and then did TSA Precheck separately, it billed as TSA Precheck by Clear and only credited me 37.95 not the full 77.95.
Just wanted to update this. The 37.95 was credited to me by Clear not by Amex. Today my full 77.95 TSA Precheck credited from Amex. My best guess is Clear credited me and gave me the bundle rate even though I didn't choose the bundle when signing up.

So far I am super happy and I will possibly just keep the Amex Biz Plat more than a year. After I use my Dell credit I will be $139 in profit over the high $695 annual fee.

I have not heard of a Venture that gives 1.5 only 2 for Venture and Venture X or 1.25 for Venture One. Is that a new card?

I also would go with the Savor or Quicksilver with the perferred choice being Savor.

Those only have $200/$250 Bonuses so if you wanted to get a Venture or VentureX with its $750 sign up bonus you could.
They are also pretty decent return rates on the cards and if you did get one of the Ventures down the line you could transfer the rewards to that card. I have personally been switching more and more dining and groceries to the Savor from the CSR as I don't have an AMEX Gold and Capital One Points are harder to earn for me.

Long time lurker, now with a question! I’ve had both of the Chase Disney Visas for many years- probably 15+. Thinking about cancelling the premium to avoid the annual fee- I’m currently unemployed and no Disney travel anytime soon😢 if I do, when could I apply again for a card and get the signup bonuses? Thanks for your advice!

Is cashing in my Sapphire points for BestBuy gift cards a bad deal? (to buy Disney gift cards to pay my DVC dues. ;) )

You can redeem for cash back at 1 cent per point. Same value as for gift cards unless there’s a sale.

If you have a Sapphire Reserve you can Pay Yourself Back at 1.25 cent per point for certain categories. Utilities and insurance might be the current useful ones.

@Chili327 Gas stations are also part of PYB at 1.25 if you have the CSR.

Check your cards for Chase offers on places that sell DGC like Office Depot, Ralph’s Dollar General etc as well

If you are referring to the statement credit that you receive after spending $xxx then that is 2 years.

I would consider seeing if they would just let you downgrade the card to the 0% card. If intent on canceling a card I would transfer the credit line to whichever card has the longest age and then cancel the newest one. If the oldest happens to be the AF one then downgrade it after moving the credit line.

When your situation improves I would recommend a different card for your every day purchases and just use the Disney one for the Meet & Greet photos, discounts, 0% promo and discounts. The only spend I put on mine is if there is a Chase Offer or a bonus opportunity

Hope you get back on your feet soon :)
