I have a budget cell phone carrier. Visible Wireless. Amex Biz Platinum did not credit for the wireless credit, I enrolled prior to the charge posting. Huge bummer since I really factored that $120 a year into my is it worth the $695 AF decision.

Visible has been working just fine for me all year. Last charge was in August and $10 credited 2 days later. I'm due for next charge this week, so maybe something changed since then. But before I switched I found positive DPs for a while. Guess we'll see but I didn't see anything restricting it in the terms -

Valid only on purchases for monthly wireless telephone service charges made directly from a wireless telephone service provider in the United States and U.S. Territories. Purchases for hardware and equipment are NOT included. Any purchases from Google Fi, third parties, authorized retailers or resellers are excluded. Bundled services offered by Wireless companies for TV, Internet and VoIP and VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) services are excluded.

My monthly charge comes through as Mobile Telecom category so I don't see why it wouldn't credit.

Glad to hear it might work. My card is pretty new, maybe it will post at statement closing. But the purchase went through about 7 days ago. It’s notated as Communications - mobile telecom.

Yep that's how mine does too. Sometimes AmEx is slow in crediting. I usually see it in a day or two, but they have been known for delays. Fingers crossed it's just a slow month.

Anyone buy convention tickets recently? After entering name, address, cc info, etc, I get the Woody screen telling me to wait a minute. After awhile, it just times out. I have tried different browsers, different computers, tablet, and incognito mode. Any other thoughts? Hoping to use my CF for the 5x before the quarter ends.

We cruised in Europe this summer on Celebrity (first time not on a Disney ship) and I'm so glad we were willing to try it. I wasn't sure we'd like it, but we really did. I'm not sure it was any less expensive because we went for a higher category stateroom, but it feels good to know that I am not stuck with just one cruise line and their limited itineraries.

My mom loves Celebrity but she sales Aqua Class. I still think it's got to be cheaper than $10k for 8 days for a balcony for Norway!

Had to clear my cart entirely, then go in with a fresh browser, incognito, and log into Dis website, then navigate to convention website and proceed. I see that you tried different browsers, but did you try signing in and emptying your cart before trying the new browser?

I'm looking at spending a few days in Taipei next May before taking the train down to Kaohsiung. For those who have been to Taiwan, what area of Taipei should I be looking at for hotels? Suggestions of places to stay, things to do, how many days?

I was in Taipei many many years ago, so no idea where we stayed, but you have got to visit the National Palace Museum - I was 16 when I went there, and it is still one of the most amazing museums I've ever seen.

And eat all the food! So much yummy food there - it was the first place I ever ate bao and I'm still obsessed

I'd love to go back and explore more of Taiwan!

Ask for a couple of recommendations:
1. Hotel near JFK. Will have a positioning flight the day before a 9:30am flight to London next year. Where to stay close for the morning flight?

2. Any recommendations for guided tours for Rome - Vatican and Colosseum? I'm looking on the Chase portal but not adverse to booking OOP. On the portal I can't really see the name of the tour company (maybe I am not looking in the right place).

Not sure what you're saying, but I wouldn't bet on Alaska becoming an MR partner. I feel like BoA wouldn't let them. I think the gamble is transfer to Hawaiian now or wait and hope that MRs continue to be transferable and that there will be another transfer bonus.

yes this is what I was saying and it stinks, I wonder if something happens with the credit cards. I just don't have a redemption in mind yet and I hate to move points on speculation.

Ahh, thank you!! For some reason, I thought this was over a few months ago, so this definitely changes things. I went ahead and app'ed for DH... instant approval Still deciding if I want to app for myself. I'm at 4/24 and was holding the slot for a CSR/CSP in March... but the AA card may make more sense right now, esp if it winds up going away soon!

Question, it's been awhile since I have had a barclays card. Do you have to call to cancel, or do they have a way to do it online?
