so I buy Hyatt points all the time usually the max because I have a problem I tend not to go for the 20% off I tend to go for the bonus only they have had a 30% bonus but it has been a while 20% to me is an automatic buy if I have a redemption in mind. but 20% off doesn't move the needle for me if that makes sense, I should preface this they only let you buy 55k points a year so that bonus helps.
Yeah, I am not needing Hyatt points at the moment, but might need in a year or two. I can wait it out to see

Thanks for all of your help, I feel like I've burdened you enough, I'm planning on applying for CSR first then resorting to CSP if I get a denial. I will time it according to my DVCRequest purchase like you mentioned. Do you know how often the MODs in the Reddit get to the messages sent to them?
Not a burden! If you don't hear back from us within a couple days or need quicker access feel free to tag us here or ask others too, message alerts can slip through the cracks. I promise we are a kind and understanding bunch like the folks who make up this wonderful thread here and will not be annoyed AT ALL :)

If Chase expedites shipping on a card, but already mailed the card out as well, so you wind up getting a second card... can both be used? They both have the same security code and everything. Would love to give one to DH to use.

I think they get luggage in business class on JL. I have the tickets reserved right now. I think we should pay for the fees with their CSR card and not their AA credit card? I don't think there is any advantage to using the AA card for the fees...

Congrats on finding the JAL availability! Yes, I would just use the CSR. They get 2 free bags and the weight allowance is more at 70 lbs.

You can find the JAL confirmation code on AA and select seats on the JAL website.

Yes. Absolutely. I often do this and give DH the spare. I rarely need to add an employee

Are Chase ink support points posting running late these days? I have one from an automatic approval on June 30 that isn’t even showing pending yet. I haven’t had one take this long before.
I am also are waiting for support points from an automatic approval (CIU) on July 1. As of today they are still not showing as pending. I’m hoping they show up tomorrow.

I just realized I’m missing points from a referral on July 20. Of course dummy me didn’t note which of my 3 CICs I sent the referral from, so hopefully the points show up!

DP on the new Doordash/CSR $10 credits. Not as good as Instacart, but I found pickup available for free at 7-11 and have been loading up on chips, candy, and the occasional donut. My kids think it's the best errand run ever!

Love the car shopping and appliance talk. We are in the market for a car as well, but upsizing. Resisted for as long as we could but we're finally going in the direction of a minivan or 3 row SUV. It just makes sense with 3 kids and more afterschool activities with a buddy or 2 along. If anyone has thoughts between the Chrysler Pacifica or Toyota Sienna or another highly recommended 3-row SUV, let me know! We aren't committing to anything until 2025 while we set aside a larger down payment, and really hope to be able to put a large portion on a cc.

I was looking into doing using 7-11 for my doordash credits. Do you have to order ahead and they bag and you pickup from there? The only 7-11s I could use are about 30 minutes from my house, but I'm by there a couple times a month. I'd love to be able to use both credits at the same time, so wondering if that would work.

We have a toyota highlander with 3rd row seating. Mine is a 2015 and just went over 151k miles this weekend. I still love it! Was great when our 3 kids were younger! I got this car when our kids were between 12 & 18. DH really wants to get something newer and I'm trying to talk myself into downsizing, but I really love the third row, so just not sure yet!

Before our highlander, I had a Saturn Outlook which they don't make anymore. At the time, they were like a sister car to the Chevy Traverse and the Enclave. Ours had a middle bench seat, so could actually seat 8. I really loved that seating arrangement. I had this car for about 7 years starting when our kids were between 5 & 11 or so. DH and I could take all 3 kids plus a friend each somewhere. It also allowed me to drive my sister and her 2 kids, my 3 kids and my mom places when we all went somewhere together. I really liked that 8th seat when they were growing up!

Those DoorDash credits are killing me. Only options for pickup near me are Edible Arrangements or flower stores. 😢

Yes, just order ahead and they have a bag waiting for me at the cashier. The credits are two $10 and should in your promotion / offers tab. It comes off the total before you pay (so you can double check it works) and you can only use 1 credit per order so you'll have to make 2 separate orders and go pickup at the same time.

Thanks! DH just loves my credit card shenanigans as he calls it. We go by here when we head to the movies, so we'll now have to make a monthly stop at 7-11 along with our monthly stop at (used to be Shake Shack) 5 Guys lol!

I’m still waiting for support points from a June 22nd approval. I sent a SM a few weeks ago, and they told me to contact them after a full 8 weeks. I’m actually happy to hear others are having this issue as well. I was wracking my brain trying to remember if I used the link. Which I know I did.

I was thinking about applying for the AAdvantage executive card to get the lounge access, but sometimes I do not fly AA to the destination. Are you allowed to use an admirals club without flying an AA flight?

Random interesting (to me, anyway!) event. When I applied for the Jet Blue Barclays card over the weekend, I did not get any messages about credit pulls from my multiple monitoring services. Barclay said I already had a login, had to reset my password. Racking my memory trying to come up with when I have had a Barclays card before, I think maybe the LL Bean credit card I had years ago?
