You’ll be fine paying it off once and putting the remaining 2k on it……...if you have any other Chase business cards you could transfer some of the CL to the new card2/3 of the way done with MSR on the CIC I was approved for exactly one week ago! I'll have to wait for the statement to close and pay so that I can put the remaining $2K on it, as I'm at the $4K limit now with our appliance purchase. (Right? Chase wouldn't like the idea of paying if off now and putting another 2K on it before the statement even closes?) Also, the new account bonus tracker FINALLY showed up today in the app, so it took a week for me, in case anyone else is wondering where their's is.
I’ve actually done this multiple times this past year on several Chase MSRs and have never had an issue with it. Chase actually increased my credit limit because of it.
I think it's ok if you don't make a habit of it. I did the same on my last CIC. I usually pay it down, not completely. Currently working on DH CIC with a $5k limit. SMd to move $2k credit from his CIU to get $7k total credit on the new card.
Thanks ya'll! I will go ahead and do that then (maybe I'll pay just half so I can put another $2K on it). It shows my statement doesn't close until Dec 24, and I could sure make a lot more purchases between now and then, LOL.You’ll be fine paying it off once and putting the remaining 2k on it……...if you have any other Chase business cards you could transfer some of the CL to the new card
I just got an offer from AmEx to open a biz bank account and get 30k MR. Need to transfer in $5k, keep it there for 60 days and perform 10 transactions (ACH, Wire, and Bill Payments only). Is this a decent offer? Can the account be opened online? It sounds like I could just transfer a few dollars 10 times and it would qualify; can it be that simple?
I read the condition and don't think it's for me. Way too much info required:

It was that easy. Opened online with no real questions about my business. The two test payments from my bank to Amex when I linked accounts even counted towards the 10 transactions.Did you just do ACH transfers from your primary bank account to get to 10 transactions? It sounds like a good way to earn 30K MRs and long as I don't have to spill the beans about my biz.

If the account works correctly (unlike mine), you will have a tracker that will tell you when you meet the 10 transactions.
Putting together a trip to Paris for March. (We have decided to postpone Scotland until the summertime.) For Disneyland Paris, recommended hotel? I was looking at New York- The Art of Marvel. Thoughts on going directly to DL for 2 nights (Sun-Tues). Is the dining plan worth it? I was planning to use the DL transport from CDG. 5 nights at Park Hyatt (Tues-Sun). Will it be difficult to take the train into Paris with luggage? Our flight home is at 9:30 am on Sun so deciding whether to just spend Sat night closer to the airport. Would you head to DL first or at the end? Can I use Disney GCs to pay for DL Paris?
I have been all over the place with this 16th birthday trip. I wanted Rome but flights weren’t aligning so Paris it is. I loved Paris when DH and I went many, many years ago so I am happy to return.
Landed at SNA. Bff's plane just landed and we are off to dlr for a long weekend!
Unfortunately you cannot use Disney gift cards at DLP. Both times we went there we stayed at Airbnb’s so can’t offer a hotel recommendation but both times had lovely apartments. Unless you are traveling light, train travel can be a bit challenging with luggage. Many times there is not an elevator or one working so you may be carrying luggage up and down stairs. I’m now looking at a stylish backpack to replace my everywhere bag as my personal item for European travel.Putting together a trip to Paris for March. This was almost my exact trip in August. We went straight to DLP for 2 nights and then to PH for 3 nights. I booked a car service from the airport to DLP. I probably paid more than Uber, but I wanted the reliability of knowing someone from a company recommended on here would be there waiting. We stayed at Sequoia and it was fine. I chose the closer/main building room option (whatever they call it). We lucked out and got a room close to the elevators that were very close to the back door out to the walkway. It was a little nicer than a Disney value level, but not much. We weren't in the room much so it was fine. If I had it to do over again, I would probably spring for the Marvel hotel. It's closer and a lot nicer.Putting together a trip to Paris for March. (We have decided to postpone Scotland until the summertime.) For Disneyland Paris, recommended hotel? Are you sure that's the statement date and not the payment date? Although not unheard of, that seems too long for a statement and usually they don't show the first statement closing date. However if it does say payment date, then you can extrapolate it like you can personal cards. If your payment is due in Dec 24 then you'll probably have a closing date around Dec 2. (For Ink cards you add 6 days to the due date for the statement close date. Most other cards it's 3 days. Chase doesn't close statements on the 29, 30, or 31 day of a month so skip those dates on the math.) My Ink that's due on the 23rd closes on the 1st every month. Thanks ya'll! LOL you are right. “Payment due date” is Dec 24. I don’t know why I read it as statement date. Are you sure that's the statement date and not the payment date? they've been in my area for well over a year now,and still have super cheap rates to/from Fl and some other places.I did go through a dummy booking - they are offering introductory $29 fares between RDU and MCO which is awesome, but then $$$ for seat selection (I think the cheapest was $12 in the last row by the bathroom) and $40 for a carry-on bag. Still a good deal, but not sure I’ll pull the trigger.
My HIlton Honors Biz annual fee just hit and I need to decide whether to keep it or not. I will be staying at some Hilton's next year because I have a bunch of points. However, the only real benefit to me is the Gold status that comes with the card. If I have Gold status this year with that card, will my Gold status carry over for next year if I cancel the card? It says if you earn Gold it's for that year and the next. However, I am not sure if that is true if my status wasn't "earned" but was from the card.
Call for a retention offer. I got my AF covered last year on the card. I rarely use it, but it's definitely nice to have to get 10X HH points on stays; unless you have another Hilton card (I don't, but am eyeing the Surpass when I drop to 2/24 next month). My HIlton Honors Biz annual fee just hit and I need to decide whether to keep it or not.
