Same! We get more value from Costco than from BJs, so we only have a Costco membership now.

what a mess. Hope you can get it worked out. You might want to wait a couple of days before calling, seems like they are overwhelmed with calls.

SW has been letting down so many people. We have so many SW points + CP (working on CP2, I'm not really sure that was the right move). But then again all airlines are making way too many flight changes. I have Delta, United, American & SW flights booked and they've all but Delta have messed with my flights.

I feel the same way at the moment....while I still hold out hope for using my points/CP, I'm kind of sorry that I used my one opportunity (at the moment) to get those rather than another bonus elsewhere. Too late now, so I'm just gonna hope that things get sorted out soon....

I don’t know for certain but can’t imagine why they wouldn’t.

But I don't have a BJs membership and don't think I know anyone who does. I occasionally get mailers for discounted or free one day memberships. I always ignore them. Hopefully I will get one before these deals expire.
Not worth it for me to join unless these deals start to become a regular thing.

Couldn’t book vueling through chase’s website but called and was able to book our flight to London. It was a pain because they couldn’t really tell me what type of fare I was buying. I don’t want basic since we will have a decent amount of luggage.

sign up for the online membership you recommended. I havent ordered from Bj's in a long time
but it was free! To maximize the 10 dollars should i order one 100 and one 25 card? (i can't see
the discounted prices)

Got my chase confirmation for my vueling ticket and it’s useless. No clue if what chase calls economy is basic or optima, can’t pull up the reservation on vueling’s website because I booked through chase. I think I will cancel and rebook with vueling so I know what I’m buying,

I was planning on signing up my college freshman on CK, but then noticed that since she's an AU on my Amex card, if I log into Amex as her, it tracks her credit score. She's also an AU on one of my Chase cards but since there is no separate log in, I don't know if they have that feature.

I went to check that out, and can't see DD's score because she's under 18. But it's good to know about.

I see a lot of posts here about Credit Karma. Is there anything better about that than Experian or Lifelock? After DH's chase cards and gmail (what a freaking nightmare) got hacked a couple of years ago we signed up for lifelock and I have the free experian one. Do I need CK too?

Also, what are the best blogs or sites to read about the different cards and such? The only one I really know about is TPG. I've been following along here, but I'm a nerd and I like to read all the things lol

A lot time i go to Frequent Miler. Sometimes I get my best tips/data points from the comment
section and TPG got rid of theirs a while ago so I only read that site maybe as a cross reference.

I have the same Q (wow 20%! I have 2 10%)

Yes you will be able to get Disney cards with the free pass. I did it when they had the bigger discount offer around the holidays. No problems at all.

Question: are MR pts tied to a specific card like UR pts, and need to be transferred? I want to book a couple of First class tickets on Delta and take advantage of the 35% back MRs, but I haven't earned any with the Biz Plat. I think it should work but just want to make sure.

MRs are automatically pooled. No need to transfer. Very convenient, but they can't be combined with other people like URs.

I do Frequent Miler too. Also One Mile at a Time and Doctor of Credit. If you want to get into the nitty gritty, r/churning on Reddit.

For Lifelock, looks like some memberships only monitor 1 credit agency (Equifax)? CK covers Equifax and Transunion. The best thing about CK is that it's free.

Dh at BWI: What do you mean, there is no lounge here?!?!

He always forgets. I remind him every single time when we are choosing between PHL and BWI for SW. PHL has the Centurion but has crappy nonstop SW options. His new favorite routings west depart from PHL and have 2 hour layovers in DEN

There are some good restaurants at ORD. Alas no non-airline lounges and many(all?) are international flights only. If we do get to go on our LHR trip, I have a free Admirals Lounge pass.

I have 20% on the CFU and 10% on the CFF.
