We’re heading to Disney to stay at the poly on Sunday. I think we’ll miss most of the cold weather luckily because we won’t get there until after ds’s nap. We stay there until Wednesday and it looks like it’s gonna warm up.

Let me know how legoland is! We’ve never been but have been thinking about taking ds especially after peppa pig opens.

The boys loved legoland. There is so much that is just perfect for our 5 year old. Our 2 year old had fun as well although he was jealous that there were some things that he could not do. It looks like the Peppa park when it opens will be perfect for younger kids although it looks REALLY small.

Thanks for the review. We are heading to Legoland in Nov. Kids will be 7 and 5 and I want to get there before they get too big.
DD is excited about the Peppa Pig part.

Thanks for posting about it! We talked about waiting another year when ds is taller so maybe we’ll do that. I didn’t realize the peppa pig part was gonna be so small. We’ll have to look out for some vlogs to watch to help us decide.

We did Epcot this morning and had a lot of fun. Ds loved frozen (first time) and figment. This is our first stay in a poly studio and it’s so nice! I love the double bathrooms. We put ds’s pack n play in one for sleeping and it’s worked great

but I talked to a few people from warmer climates that were complaining the whole time about the frigid weather.
That would be my family 😂 25 years in Arizona softens a person. You should see my DH all bundled up to go for nighttime walks with DD 😂 it’s still probably 45-50 degrees, and he’s wearing a full North Face coat and beanie to cover his ears. LOL! To be fair we all kind of give him crap about it. But yea, we’ve become wimps. Haha

Just got back from Orlando. I had never seen my breath in Florida until Saturday night. Being from Wisconsin I didn't think the temps were bad, but I talked to a few people from warmer climates that were complaining the whole time about the frigid weather.
My mom (from Naples) is on the celebrity apex now. I think she sailed out of port canaveral Saturday. She was complaining about it being cold and windy. I had no sympathy.

I have a couple of Chase cards with small credits on them, $8 and $9. I am meeting MSR's so don't want to use those cards right now. Do you know if Chase can move the credits to a different card on my account? Not the biggest deal, but just checking to see if it might be an option.

Yup just sm them with specifics. I always say please move x credit from card ending 3333 to card ending 4444.

Question for all the Hawaii experts... I had planned at trip for 2020 for DH, DD, DS, and myself using Hilton points to stay at GW. Of course that trip was cancelled due to the pandemic and now that I'm looking to reschedule, our family dynamic has changed as DS is getting married in March. So now it will either be just DH and me, or we will be taking extended family and GW just won't work unless I can earn lots more points/FNCs. So I'm looking for other suggestions in Maui that could accommodate a group of 6. I'm thinking since it'll be DS and my new DIL, that DD will probably want to bring her boyfriend who she's been dating for a long time. We would love to find a place we could book on points, but maybe they'll be some type of PYB with Chase at that time that we can take advantage of. So what we're looking for is some type of villa/townhouse that could accommodate a group that size. Or maybe Airbnb?

we have this same family group, DS/DIL, DS and BF we are leaving on Friday and booked a 2 BR ocean view at Hyatt destination. It is 61,000 points a night. we will be there 6 nights, the cash price is almost $13,000! We are also at the Hyatt regency Maui for 3 nights (2 rooms). There are some less expensive points properties as well. https://www.destinationhotels.com/wailea-beach-villas

Wait, what? How could your son possibly be two already? It seems like you just announced his birth. Time sure does accelerate as one grows older. This must mean HaleyR’s son is ready for high school by now. And SouthFayetteFan’s little guy is out there playing football.

Just got email that they are extending the Door Dash membership on the CSR till 12/31/2024:love:
Really?? I got an email from CSR today, but nothing about Door Dash. I wonder if it’s because I had already removed my CSR from Door Dash?
I have CSP and got the email. I'd just check your DD account tomorrow.it says no action needed.

I was at a softball tournament with teams from all over the country, you could pretty much tell where people were from based on how heavily dressed they were. I'm in short sleeves and the teams from FL, AZ and TX were all wearing winter coats, a couple of them even while playing.

Met the rest of my MSR last night by charging property taxes on my Venture X that I got in December. I’m now working on my personal SW card that I got in October. No rush for the CP so I plan to earn it with spend and hopefully a support link to share when a great offer comes out for a SW card. My United biz should be arriving today and already have some big spend to put on it. I’m 3/24. Using my UR points and United points for international travel (3 more flights this year so that’s 6 RT tickets). Will hit 500,000 Cap one points soon (no plans to redeem just yet). I also have a CSR and a CF as well as a CIP which I’ll downgrade to a CIC when AF comes due. P2 is a reluctant player and doesn’t manage credit well so leaving him out for now. Already thinking of my next card. Any recommendations? Hotel stays if needed are either military hotels or Airbnb’s. I have a few Amex cards, all with no AF. Only have a few thousand MR’s. Thanks for any input.🙂

No specific card suggestions, but don’t forget the $200 Airbnb/VRBO credit on the Venture X! Also, it’s not a great use of points (only a penny per point), but your Venture X points could be used to erase Airbnb charges also. (I’ve also got the Venture X card and am struggling to find good redemptions for those points - I’m not good at the super convoluted flight booking tricks to get best value)
