My boss is looking to get a new credit card for our company. We have always had a Capital One card where we got money toward GM vehicles. We got a new General Manager and they wouldn't change him to the administrator of the account without cancelling the old account and re-applying for a new account. He was a bit miffed and decided that if we are applying for a new card, we may as well see if we are getting the best deal for the company.
Anyway, he knows I do a lot with credit cards and points, so he asked my opinion (that and I'm the controller lol).
I have business cards, but they are for my "business" and this will be for a real business, so I'm not sure if it's the same advice. I figure a cash back card may be best all around. We definitely don't need travel points nor will they want anything super complicated.
We are an established local ag company that does about $65M in sales a year. We do not charge super high amounts though and we currently have a $30,000 credit limit with our current card.
Any advice, or just go with a 2% cash back card (I assume they have those for businesses).
Thanks!
