Has anyone done the Amex Home Chef offer ($50 off $50) and stacked it with another discount? I have a coupon for $90 off, 30 off first two orders, $15 off next two at homechef.com/OVEN. I worry since it has the OVEN extension it will somehow disqualify it from the Amex Offer. Any dps on this?

I used a discount with the same amounts off, no problems crediting.

I just tried to chat with Discover to see if they can send me a new paper that has all the terms of my card. I am just curious what it says about using PayPal to pay someone. After Chase changing it to it basically being a cash advance I want to make sure I know what my other options are.
I asked if they can send me a copy. Discover person says I have a password I need to give them to talk about my acct. Gave them 2 options which were wrong. Its not even specific acct question. Just mail me the paper! After getting no response I typed to just forget. Ill use my Amex.
I feel like any time I deal with Discover I just end up annoyed. If I wasn’t my oldest card, I would dump it.

If you haven't already tried, it's worth calling CapOne to see if they'll waive the fee. They permanently removed the fee on my Spark Cash card a few years back. I don't know if they're still doing that, but they might offer you something to keep it open.
Thanks for the great advice! They applied a $95 credit which covers my annual fee. All it took was a 5 minute phone call.

No it won’t.

The suggested pacing for Chase cards is 3 months. Although I know some people have applied sooner and been approved. I’m under the impression that every 3 months is safer pacing and probably more likely for approval.

I was able to call Chase today and have my CSP PC'ed to a CSR. I did drop my AU (DS) to avoid the additional $75 fee for an AU on the CSR card. I even got them to do expedited shipping on the card. :)

Thankfully we are 2 player and we have just enough spend to hit the $7,500 Chase Biz MSRs. I've realized that the Chase portal has lots of really good options, specially for large groups. My goal is to use all of our AA miles for flights, URs for lodging and cash for excursions.
I still don't know what to do with all our MRs, we only have 180K MRs I wish there was a way to use those for flights. Maybe I need to just transfer them to Hilton during the next transfer bonus.

180k MRs transferred to Hilton = 360k. Like you said, if you do it during a 40% bonus period, that’s 504k Hilton points. That’s 6 nights in a standard room at 95,000pts, getting the fifth night free. I value 6 nights at the Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea at $5400.
I think that’s a great return!

Two Chase questions...
Venmo still works for meeting an MSR correct, until early April?
We think paying income taxes will still not be a cash advance, even after early April?

Thanks!

Nightmare that I'm wondering is related to the posts I've been seeing here yesterday and today re: Southwest: I was in the middle of looking up/booking flights to Orlando for 5/1 and the prices jumped hundreds of dollars while I was in the middle of it. Has this ever happened to anyone? Are those prices locked in now, do you think, or could they go down again? :(

Oh wow! That is a great return, might just have to start really narrowing down our location.
thanks for pointing out the great option.

This is my guess based on what I have seen with some of my previous flights that have been changed.....
They probably will go back down ..SW is probably now changing around flights for those dates

I’ve only had that happen to me on release day. Are there any other dates between 4/12 and 5/8 that are cheaper?

UGH all of this Hawaii talk is killing me. I think we were supposed to do a cruise around HI this summer w/ my mom and her friends and their kids/grandkids (all of the kids are the same age as me, and their kids the same age as mine). But obviously this isn't happening. I also am in denial of how many more years I have with my soon to be 16yo and even my soon to be 12yo! Maybe it's time I start looking/planning for Hawaii. Looks like I'm going to have a few "big" trips coming. My DD is born on St. Patrick's day and the plan has always been to celebrate her 18th there. She doesn't want her brother to go :rolleyes2 So my mom wants to plan a "special" trip for him. My mom is also turning 70 this year, and has stage 4 cancer (because her breast cancer came back after 20 years). So I know time is starting to get limited. Luckily she's doing amazing, and as I keep saying, it's going to be another 20 years that she makes it now!

I keep thinking my kids are still little and my mom will be around forever. Reality is, I'm buying a car for my DD this week, and time is flying by!!! AHHHHH!

I was just looking at my P2 chase account online. He is currently 1/24 and has a CSP. It says that he is pre approved for a freedom flex and also a freedom unlimited, does that mean that there won’t be a credit pull if is he is preapproved? I ask this because his credit is frozen, so will need to unfreeze if there is a pull. I was thinking of having him PC to one of them in June when he is at one year, but was thinking have him apply for and get one now and then PC for the other one. They both look similar. Any advantage of one versus the other?

I only looked at 4/30, 5/1 and 5/2. They were all high at all airports in the area. Man that was such a gut punch in the middle of booking!

I’d wait until tomorrow morning.....just looked from our airport and all flights are high while they move people around...by sometime tomorrow the prices should go back down
