Frontierland is popular and it has nothing to do with guests' ages. Fantasyland is one of the most popular lands, but most of the movies referenced came out long before most guests were born. Dinoland has appeal, but I'm guessing none of us were around when dinosaurs walked the earth.Nostalgia for who? I don’t know anyone under the age of 60 who has nostalgia for old westerns tbh. I’m sure some people do but it’s not the masses. Most people with young kids now days have nostalgia for 90s Disney and not the Wild West. Personally I thought the show was a bit crass and never planned to revisit. Now I might. I don’t mind crass when it’s an adult themed attraction but CBJ was presented as family fun.
I liked the shooting gallery mostly because my (70+)dad loved showing off on it but I understand why they removed it. If you really want to go shooting it’s not like Disney is your only option in the US.
On the whole I think Disney did a good job in changing their image to appeal to younger families.
You know there was more to the old west than shooting, right?Nostalgia for who? I don’t know anyone under the age of 60 who has nostalgia for old westerns tbh. Yep, we were the same, much as it pains me to say itWe saw it last week. I love what they've done to it. We saw it twice, after the first time my thoughts were like..."ehhhhh i liked the older version better." Thinking about it before we went back to see it again, my thoughts were, its not really for me, its for kids and should be updated for the next generation. So when we went back to watch it again, i went in with that mindset, i loved it.
Disney did a great job, they did a great job ensuring that this attraction will be here for years to come now. good job disney
DH thinks they did a decent job, but DH thinks it needs to be about 5 minutes longer and the girls need solos and Big Al needs more stage time. But overall, he liked the choice of music, just feels lke there could be a bit more in there. We saw it last week. I love what they've done to it. There was a lot to the old west. But not something to discuss in detail here as it would become quite political. I’ll leave it at that. You know there was more to the old west than shooting, right?
I like the music from that movie, too, but most people don't even know the movie existed outside of big Disney fan circlesI just want to know why they didn’t include “Welcome” from Brother Bear. WHY.
Bad hygene, dust, horse poo, brothels and rampant disease? You know there was more to the old west than shooting, right?
