I love the skyliner but not as an actual mode of transportation. I treat it more as a ride and it’s much better to go on in the middle of the day.
Totally Agree!! We didn't get to ride it this trip because one of the lines was down on the only day it would've worked for us. But an afternoon break "loop" on the Skyliner was a lot of fun last year!! :D

Have not backread to see if it has been mentioned but Dell currently has 10% back on Rakuten and 10% off Xbox gift cards on the dell site (GAME10 is the code) for people that use Amex Biz Plat credits for Xbox gift cards. Great deal right now.

I see this was covered yesterday already....should have known :)

We will be bringing pretty much all of our own food to cook. Ds is dairy/soy intolerant so it’s just easier that way and less stress for us. I don’t think Dh will want to eat anywhere inside. We haven’t decided yet but we may go into MK. Otherwise it’ll just be a resort trip for 2-3 nights

Thanks for the tip about reserving the golf cart ahead of time!
There are lots of places to eat at disney and universal who can cater to food allergies or sensitivities. Plus many have outside eating

I tried searching over on reddit on r/churning, but I'm really not reddit savvy. Has anyone seen DP confirming whether the Cap One Spark Biz cards are truly not reporting to personal credit reports going forward? I'd like to refer DH for one, but with him at 3/24, I don't want to take one of those slots with an offer that always seems to be available.

Definitely, and mobile ordering made it so much easier too since we could access most of the in park allergy options on our phones! Only a few of the resorts had mobile ordering for allergy available though, and I think most of those that we saw were for the carry out at the sit down places. Our January trip was definitely our easiest trip in regards to figuring out what to eat with DH's gluten allergy.

RE: The Swan Reserve: When we were at BWV in late January, I came down with a stomach virus (from DH and his work, I believe). Anyway, that meant two days of me hanging out in our room and DH exploring the Boardwalk area at his leisure. (Which, though he didn't wish for me to be sick, he really enjoyed the laid-back start to vaca.) Anyway, he poked around the Swan and Dolphin and then checked out the construction at the Swan Reserve. He was really intrigued by it and definitely wants to try a stay there. So, he didn't think the extra distance was a big deal as far as walking to parks. Also, he did mention how we could stay on CC points. LOL! He's enjoying this hobby of mine. ;)

What's the best way to accumulate Marriott/Bonvoy points? Neither of us have ever had an AmEx. We are each currently 3/24. I just got the SW Performance Biz so I'll be working on that MSR. Thoughts?

Mental note--don't call mom in Naples and ask how the weather is because I will be jealous.

We are getting more ice here tomorrow. But I'm just thankful I'm not in Texas. And didn't lose power last weekend. Praying I don't lose more limbs tomorrow/Friday. My backyard is a total mess right now.
When my family was showing each other pictures of their snow (IL, MI, IN), I exercised restraint on showing them pictures of my pool and palm trees.
Hang in there, each day is another day closer to spring!

When you have multiple allergies mobile doesn’t work. I’ve always had to talk to the chef. But they don’t seem to mind and it hasn’t been a long wait

Are you cashing out more than $800 of so then it would pay to upgrade.
Thanks for the input. Used my MRs and Discover IT cashback first since I have less use for them. I still have a decent balance with both MR and cashback. And I will still have more than enough URs even after I use PYB on the rest of what I need.

Would love to get this one as we use Amazon Fresh at least once a week. (It's quick!)

Just want to thank @SouthFayetteFan, @3 DD love princesses , and anyone else who provided guidance regarding getting the most out of my URs while using PYB to buy gift cards. I don't want to sound ungrateful for not following the advice to upgrade to the CSR.

As you may know, I am not a churner. I just have my 5 cards (CSP, CFU, CFF, Amex Everyday, Discover IT) that I use regularly to amass points to use towards travel. I have always had enough to cover what we needed. I admire everyone here who churns and makes the most out of this hobby. I just don't have it in me to do it that way or to upgrade/downgrade cards.

I really do appreciate all the input and everything I learn from reading this thread.

Can anyone speculate when the 4+2 ticket offer for WDW will end? Fine print says it can be terminated at any time.

And - will buying park tickets through DVC MS code as travel on the CSP? (Yes - I am using gift cards, but also buying for someone not in my family who will be joining us. Going to use a CC for that.)

Oh, I love Costa Rica! On our first trip there I planned it myself, and we spent 4 nights in Arenal and 4 nights in Manuel Antonio, and had an incredible time. Started in San Jose and did a coffee plantation tour combined with a visit to Poas Volcano, and spent some time at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. In the Arenal area, we did the SkyTrek zipline that @iujen94 mentioned and that is the longest, high flying zipline I've ever done, it's pretty much ruined me for any other ziplines. We did the "volunteering" activity at Proyecto Asis which is an animal sanctuary for wildlife. DD got to hold and bottle feed baby capuchin monkeys which was a highlight. Also went ATVing with Original Arenal ATV and that was a blast. In Manuel Antonio we spent time at the beach, and did a day trip with ADR Adventure for their 10-in-1 adventure (ziplining, rappeling, via ferrata, 4 wheeling) which is probably the most fun I've ever had in my life.

Our last two times in Costa Rica we stayed at Hotel Punta Islita (Autograph Collection with Bonvoy) where almost all the activities are included with your stay. There is ziplining, horseback rides, yoga, nature walks, and down at the beach you can rent boogie boards or take surfing lessons (these last two are through private vendors so they do cost money). We've gone river kayaking and turtle viewing for an extra fee too. My DH says that is his favorite place in the world. Me, I actually preferred our first trip to Costa Rica because it was more varied and we saw more of the country. But Punta Islita is easy and relaxing.

Did some preliminary research last night and have a better idea what is where lol. Wondering if you rented a car that first trip and how is driving there? Debating if we'd want to just do day trips from the Andaz or if we want to move around more.

I was thinking of going to Aulani for a week( using DVC points) and then going to Maui for another week. Need to start researching the hotel cards!
This is the exact trip I'm hoping to take next year when I turn 50 and my mother turns 80. I'm hoping my brother and his family will join us but he's one of those misguided "I hate Disney" people (lol) so I doubt he'll want in for the Aulani part.

I don’t think we’ll be able to take ds on it for the trip we’re planning since we won’t be close or going to Epcot/hs
