and now I am getting greedy. i have the offer on my kids AU cards. Could I go through the Chase portal from my personal card and get the UR's there? I went through my business portal on mine and p2.

Unless Chase pulls the offer, how can it be dead? All you are doing is signing up through the Chase portal, not doing anything wrong.

You're supposed to use your Chase card. From FAQ:
"To be eligible for the additional points, you must use your Chase card with Ultimate Rewards to pay for your order at the online retailer's site."

So in theory this double dipping shouldn't work. But in practice, I think it just works like any other shopping portal, so they don't know what card you used. If it didn't track though, I don't think you can go back and ask them for it. Now that Motley Fool is upset, I wonder if Chase has a way to verify what card you used. Or maybe the e-mail to FM was just a scare tactic to stop the bleed lol.

ETA: I do see Chase's terms say cannot be combined/stacked with any other offer. Guess we'll see what happens.

I don't think they would know you used the Amex offer, since you just pay normally. I think they mean using a discount code or something like that.

Just sharing an update - went in for me, my DW, and my 3 daughters who are authorized users on a couple of AmEx cards. Used 3 Freedom Unlimited's (my oldest daughter has her own), a Chase Ink Cash, and a Freedom. We'll see if it all comes through.

I forgot about my AUs. My kids might be signing up too! Never too young to learn about the market.

Does anyone know if this auto renews?

Please confirm I have this correct regarding AU offers:

- If an AU has an offer that is also on the main card, the offer can be done once per card (AU plus main card) because different users.
- If the offer is on 2 main cards (Amex Plat and Amex Gold) for the same main user, the offer can only be used once because same user.

My Chase points show pending saying it could be 8-12 weeks to post.

Ha, it does appear they did. That's crazy because it was there when I posted about using my kids AU cards through my personal portal, I looked before I posted.
Now will those of us that show it in our shopping trip and got the email, still get the points?

Looks like I got the offer before they upped the price. I used my CFU and got 7,500 URs (I guess I will wait to see if they post); already received an e-mail from AmEx that I redeemed the offer.

For the Amex Plat paypal offer, I signed up Spotify to be paid through Paypal using my Plat card. I see a charge on Paypal and a charge on my Plat for $9.99. However, the Plat charge doesn't show anywhere that it is from Paypal (says "SpotifyUSAI). Anyone do this and have it show up this way? I don't want to miss out on the $30 for this month.

Hello! I'm new to posting on this thread but have been following along. I have had a Chase Freedom Unlimited card for a number of years now and pretty much put everything I can onto it for the UR and of course pay it off (usually weekly). I was just approved for a Sapphire Preferred and will of course charge the 4K in 3 months for the 60K UR. My question is, after that period, should I continue to use the CSP instead of the CFU for my normal purchases? I also have a Chase SW card that I haven't used in over a year, not sure what to do with that one.

Thanks for any and all help, I'm in awe in what some of you have been able to do!

Hi and welcome! You should use your CSP for travel, since that will give you 2x points. Also grocery will get you 2x points on the CSP, but only until 4/30 unless they extend it. (That’s assuming you don’t have a CFU with the 5x grocery on it?) Everything else can go on the CFU to earn the 1.5x. But then you can transfer your CFU URs to your CSP if you want to use them with CSP’s transfer partners or book travel through the Chase travel portal (since the CSP will give you 1.25 cents per UR). I used his new CIU with a cash advance limit much lower than what we paid. It's pending, so I'll report back if it seems to go through without any issues. I still see the offer on Chase's portal. My Paypal purchase from Walmart and a yearbook company did the same thing for the pending charge but then when it posted it said Paypal and I got the $30 credit. Hope everyone feels better soon, and you all don't go stir crazy!
