Just got an email back from MF that my auto renewal has been turned off.

6000 URs pending from the MF purchase. However the one I did on DH's account last night - never got an email from Chase, doesn't show the purchase under "Store Visits" either, only that I visited the link. I hope that one tracks, or I'll go ahead and try to cancel the MF subscription.

I signed up for the AMEX Plat the other night and got my card number with a temporary CVV code - this precludes me from taking advantage of the PayPal credit until I get the physical card, right? I just tried to add the card to my PayPal account both by linking to my Amex account and manually and got denied.

I have the Lowe's offer also, on both our BBP, but ours are up to $100. That would have been nice before I paid my DVC dues.

I am only paid up til June with DVC at this time, so it is perfectly timed with a June expiry. I got it on my Marriott Bonvoy Business card.

Just saw a new Lowe’s Amex offer on P2’s BBP. 10% back up to $50

My DH had an offer on his CSP for 10% off Lowe’s up to $15. I stopped in and bought a $150 DGC.

Another idea for any who didn’t sign up yet. I was thinking about trying to sign up for my P2 also but thought I really don’t want 2 of the same subscription. For those who have signed up for more than one person are you getting a different one? Like Rule Breakers instead of another one of the Stock Advisor?

I got different offers, almost back-to-back, on different Chase cards. The CF (plain) got the $99 price on 7500 URs. The CSP (if I did it right) only got $199 for 6000 URs.

Yes. Two years out begin acquiring the points. So I'd start planning now to get the points and miles you need in place. Make a plan to have them all in place by March of 2022 and then start stalking the flights. The two years is a general rule of thumb. I always want the miles in place one year before the flight will take place. If you are starting from scratch and have a super boujee trip planned then you will need more time. Someone who is a slow churner also would need to give themsleves more time. We all earn and burn at different rates. I am on a 5 year plan to accumulate between 5 million UR points for two specific trips I have in mind.

Thank you! I think I have 330K URs and like 25k MRs. My daughters #1 request is business class or 1st class, LOL. I guess my biggest concern is the flights. Hotels are much less of a concern, as my DD doesn't really care as much about where we sleep, LOL. Is there a good way to figure out the best airline to book the flights through? I need to get from DTW to Ireland. I can fly out of Toronto too, which I've hear going out of Canada is often way cheaper (at least when it comes to paying out of pocket). I know from reading sometimes you get better redemptions booking a different mileage currency on an airline.

Go to the shopping page, then at the top there is a My Shopping Details tab, its in there.

As mentioned above, I went through the Earn Bonus Points tab on the side, then My shopping details, and clicked on visited stores. It shows like 5 visits to Motley Fool, but no transactions.

Amex is really pushing me to upgrade my Gold to a Plat for 60k MR after 5k spend. How can I tell if there is no lifetime language? I opened a Plat in Nov 2018 and closed in Jan 2020. My Gold just hit a year and AF is due 2/7. I was also in pop-up jail last I checked. Are upgrades affected by this?

You can check in the offer terms. In the past, upgrade offers haven't had lifetime language. But there was a DP recently that a 25k plat upgrade offer did. There's speculation that taking an upgrade offer helps with the pop-up (but who knows).

They might all be 15,000 now. I checked a few accounts. But BIG gotcha is the fine print:

"Only eligible on paid 1 year subscription to Discovery: Everlasting Portfolio, Motley Fool Options, and Extreme Opportunities: Augmented Reality and Beyond."

Those subscriptions are $999+!
