Not sure what is going on with my post above. Here is what I put in

My DH applied for the Barclay AA Biz card a couple weeks back and got this same message, I was just going to forget about it because he won’t call. About 10 days or so after they called my phone as that is the number we listed on the app, he was at work so I said he wasn’t available, they gave a number to call back, again was just going to let it go. The next day we got an approval email. The cards (his and my employee) arrived on Thursday, the credit limit is only $650 but the MSR is $1000 so I’m ok with that. Used card for a couple purchases already and all is fine. I was concerned they may want some business verification documents as I have read about that with Barclay even after approval. Not sure your experience will be the same but that’s what happened for us.

If you have a physical card (ANY physical card), you can add your GCs on the site to that card (up to $1000). Worst case scenario, if you didn’t have any physical cards, you could get a $25 card at the grocery store and use that.

Edited to add: you could also consolidate to a non-physical card, like an e-gift card, as long as you have the card number and access code.

I left the physical GCs in Florida (and I won't be back until I'm vaccinated); do I need to delete the balances on the website? Or will they disappear automatically?
Just to confirm, the balances won't disappear from the physical GCs, just the website.

Anyone use Spirit cards and miles? We used to since Spirit is one of the only nonstop flights to Orlando for us. But they were hard to book flights with points. Their new rules allow point pooling and also have point charts based on flight cost. I'm thinking to get a new spirit card. But... I don't know the rules for sign up bonuses. Is it a once a lifetime rule? It's been a few years since I had their card.

How far away is Georgia Tech for you? Mine are 7 hours one away in one direction and 4 hours away in the other direction and they both go back to campus this coming weekend. Oy. We will be driving them both. Fun driving ahead.

It looks like you do not need to delete the info off the current site, it will go away. No, the balances are supposed to remain on the cards! With 2 cancelled trips in 2020, I have close to $1000 on gift cards. I took a screen shot of my current page with the cards and amounts. Here is the disney notice:

8 hours? But super easy to get a non-stop flight and there’s a train from the airport basically to campus from what I understand. So my rr and Marriott points might get used.

Cleaning out boxes of junk in the closets to get the house ready to sell, found my old high school/college records, awards, etc. Threw it all out except I noticed that the college board tests and my college transcripts all had my SSN prominently displayed, so they went in the shred pile. I had forgotten when those numbers were used for school ID #, kind of shocking now.

Are you trimester? That seems an early start. But yes, it is late as both schools did a delayed start. Last semester one delayed start and one started early so we had about a month break between move-ins. But we did pick them up for break within days of each other. Move out in May will probably be same time too. I am afraid to look. lol

quarters... i started classes Jan 4th. only got 2 full weeks of winter break but we had an incredibly long summer(school started Oct 1st).

a thing as SiriusXM GCs

I purchase these and the only place I am able to find them in is Best Buy. Grocery, drug, and home improvement stores carried every other streaming service except Sirrus XM and I must've checked a dozen before finding them fully in stock at Best Buy. However, they weren't with the other gift cards- I had to ask an employee and they were in the back with the physical XM radios that they sell.

It appears that some locations that I thought would be 10X points eligible are not, so I am trying to track my locations that qualify for the 10x points, but are not finding an easy way to do it from the AMEX website. The AF just hit on my Delta Gold Business card. I haven't flown on Delta since I got the card. I'd like to use the points to fly to Europe when things open up again after COVID. I'm not sure the benefits are worth the $95 fee right now, if i knew we were flying this year I'd probably keep it for the free checked bag and priority boarding.

I am considering cancelling but I don't want to make the AMEX Gods unhappy and head to pop up land. Any thoughts? Is it dangerous to cancel? I don't use the card unless it has a good offer on it.
