I changed my CIU to a CIC on Dec 27 and I can see it in Informed delivery this morning, so 12 days - if it actually arrives tonight. I had been wondering where it was for the last couple of days.

Dec 17 is too long to wait. Maybe call them just in case?
Oh good, I requested a replacement CIP on 12/28. I was starting to think maybe I missed its arrival, but maybe it'll be in the box tomorrow. A girl can hope.

Just got my offer accepted on a resale BLT contract and paid my deposit with my new flashy CSP card. Not sure if anyone would know but if DVC decides to buy back my contract, would the title company refund my money to my credit card or send me a check? If it is a refund to my CC, does it set back my SUB $4000 spend? Wanted to prepare just in case.

So with Amex a refund like this could be an issue. With Chase it’s no big deal. If you get a refund (soon or even months from now) just do the right thing and “replace the spend” and Chase will be just fine.

Congratulations Depends on the title company everyone is different on how they handle it. The two contracts I’ve had that disney bought back I could only make the deposit by check. But my last one I pd with a cc and asked if disney bought it back how would I be refunded? I was told I could do check or back to cc

I requested to work with Mason Title and they allow CC for deposits. I will email them and ask them about refunds. Thanks!

Is there any way to get a duplicate card for my Amex Plat biz? Would love for DH to have it because he spends a lot and could really help with the high MSR but I’m not willing to pay the fee for an employee card. If I report it damaged do they change the numbers when they send a new one?

You can request a biz green as an employee card for the biz plat. It doesn’t have a fee. Same account and will help with your spend.

Anyone knowledgeable about rental cars and 25 year olds with no personal car insurance? West coast DD and a couple of friends are thinking about renting a place in Hawaii for a month to work from. One friend has a car and insurance in CA, could she be a secondary driver without any insurance of her own? I don't think the liability on her renters insurance would cover a car accident. Looks like she could buy some from the rental company but it's pricey. My idea was to just not be a driver, but that didn't go over so well.
Long time lurker here, but did read all the pages from last year!

If DD is not an insured on any other policy (or a potentially a “resident” of your household), she would need to get the liability coverage from the rental company. The friend‘s policy and the rental policy would not likely cover her.

Typically I would invite you to DISchurners at this point via a Private Message.... but you only have 2 comments so I can't PM you, haha! You should make 8 more comments... but in the meantime, if you're interested in joining let me know and I can instruct you from here on the thread. DISchurners is our reddit group which has some great info on it (you might have clicked some links and not been able to access them.

Oh - and how did you cash out 100k RR points? Just curious! One of my recommendations at this point would've likely been to grab more SW cards so wondering how and why you cashed out, lol.
