I have a question about the Hyatt card. I was just recently approved for it. I haven't received the card yet but I noticed that I have 5 qualifying nights. Shouldn't that have been 10?

So the consensus for the Mattress Run is to not say you're doing one and just say you might not stay every night?

The other 5 seem to post later. For me, it was 8 weeks from when the initial 5 posted.

Have you logged onto your account? I saw a DP of someone's 7 nt cert being extended automatically by Marriott, and it was one that had already been extended from 2018. It looks like Marriott has been rolling out the extensions this past week; it was supposed to be completed by yesterday. I see all my FNC are extended until 8/1/21 and my suite night awards until 12/31/21.
Yep, I happened to log in and see that mine had been extended to Aug as well! We are still trying to make a Jan trip happen and if we can, I'll try to use the cert but good to know we have some extra time!!

Anyone know whether Chase will transfer a credit balance from one card (a CIP if that matters) to another (a CIC)?

what do u mean? if your trying to balance transfer from one card to another, you can not.
if your trying to transfer your credit limit from one biz card to another, yes u can do that. SM chase stating, "I would like to transfer $5,000 of my credit limit with card ending in 1234 to card ending in 5678."

Sorry; what I mean is this.

One of my cards (CIP) has a credit on it because I got a refund on my flight fees for the Japan flights I had to cancel. It's over $500.

Will Chase transfer that credit (that is to say, will they move it and apply it)to one of my other business cards to "count" as a payment, or no?

Yes, you can do it via SM.

There's a new google pay app and there's an offer for $21 back at target when you buy $50 and use it to pay. Info at doc.

Worked buying a dis gc, says it's been redeemed and will pay out in 30 days. Comments on doc mention someone using an iPhone to do it as well. Should be able to link to your bank acct for pay out, haven't done that yet.
I have never used google pay before. Can I link a CC to it? Or does it need to be a bank account?

Before I use a bunch of my URs.....

If I book a flight for myself and SIL (through the Chase portal....SW) and end up needing to cancel it because she can't go....i'll get the points back, right?

Frontier (who cancelled our flights due to Covid back in May and gave use credit plus vouchers when it happened) just cancelled our flight to MCO in February, and moved our return flight up by 4 hours. So they're offering me ANOTHER refund on the flight down PLUS more vouchers (which could potentially pay for my whole family to fly to Florida to see my parents over spring break) but is also leaving us a bit "stuck" for SIL and I to go on our trip in February. It's yet another mess, although I'm a little relieved they cancelled this early and didn't wait until we were 2 weeks out like SW did in August.

No, you will get more SW credits in her name - If you want to keep points you need to transfer them to SW - yes they will remain Southwest Rapid reward points but at least they won't expire in 12 months and you'll get to use them however you won't they won't be in her name.
