How long are the referral links likely to work? DH has to wait a week or two to get under 5/24 before he can apply for CIP again.

You can downgrade to the Delta blue, it doesn't include free baggage, but if you would rather not close the card this is an option. I have done this a couple of times on mine (then they offer me upgrades again) as it's one of my older cards.

No one knows. They could keep it or change them at anytime. I was not planning on getting this right now -but I will make it work. Would not get it for $15,000 MSR.

Not an expert, but I think when they come out with a new public offer then the old one is on it's last legs. Could be wrong.

My local grocer had to remove extra toilet paper from the bathroom and put it in their back room monitored by a camera because it kept getting stolen.

So for two weeks I've been looking for a can of Lysol (no where to be found) and yesterday I saw one through the window of a parked car. I joked to DH to go get a crow bar...I'm breaking in.

My brother just got a 3 pack of lysol spray from Sams club over the weekend. No toilet paper or clorox wipes, but they had spray.

My friend went two days ago. Got there when they opened and still had to wait in a line to get in. Madhouse and check out lines to very back of store. Says she’s scarred for life now from ever shopping there again Don’t think police were there though!!

I say the same thing about the super Walmart now. I’m scarred and afraid to go back there!!

Success! Although there was a line to get into Aldi when they opened. (I got there 15 minutes early and there was already 10 people waiting. By the time they opened, there was 50.) However, I found that Aldi was well stocked, and put limits on most of the items which I was happy about. So I was able to get 2 packs of fresh chicken, a bag of frozen chicken, and frozen ground turkey. There were no paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins) to be had. Cashiers said they had no idea when they’d be getting more in. The cashiers looked noticeably stressed. I can’t imagine working in grocery stores right now

Did you cancel your AA flights yet? I have 4 flight to Jamaica next month that I've been holding off cancelling. I also have the Aspire $250 credit, but I was hoping if they cancel the flight I would just get the points refunded.

Good luck. I have flights to Hawaii in 8 days. So I keep looking a few times a day. I hope they just cancel. I am waiting till the day before to cancel. I hope I don’t stay on hope forever. Lol.

If the fee is $250 then that's the Delta Platinum and the Delta Gold is also an option for a $99 annual fee. In addition to free bags it offers somewhat priority boarding, basically behind all other special catego but ahead of general main cabin boarding.

If others are in this position with travel funds they likely will not be able to use before expiration, I encourage you to call SW to ask or to Tweet or DM them on Twitter. The way I see it, the more inquiries they get on this the more likely they will be to change their policy and give folks a break on near-term expiring travel funds.

I’m glad you were able to get some!! Bummer about the paper products. I do feel bad for anyone who is working at a grocery store during this. My SIL works for Walmart and has been doing online grocery pick up.

State Department expected to issue Level 4 advisory for all international travel according to TPG. Apparently this is non-binding but it strongly suggests Americans not go abroad and those abroad return immediately- I haven't read it myself, this is what tpg is saying.

Had to get a form notorized for my daughter so we did a pick up lunch. Got my In-n-Out fix and in perfect time since rain is on the way and my head can feel it.

One theory is that migraines are a result of dehydrated cells. Cheeseburger and fries (along with added salt) apparently contain a good combo of vitamins, minerals, etc to rehydrate cells. All I know is that it does work for me and has worked for the past year+ since I learned of it.

Our magicbands from the reservation I just canceled were in the mailbox today Have we heard anything about charges for those upgraded bands?

All of my DVC points went to 2019, I immediately sent an email to ask about the 2020 points and referenced the notification on the website. All of my FPs are still active even though I no longer have a resort reservation and we are more than 30 days away. I expected them to poof away.

My Hilton Aspire should be up for renewal soon and I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I hold 2 FNCs now which are thankfully extended. I think downgrading this card is the way to go. It's the only Hilton card I have had. I think I should downgrade to the no fee card so I don't lock myself out of a Surpass later, correct?
