Add one as a joint owner instead of an AU? Might mess with 5/24 or AAoA but might be worth it if you are a slow churner.
Good idea. We have 3 NFCU cards and I know one is set up as joint. They are our oldest cards. It's fine though, I don't need to add the youngest yet and when I am ready in a few more months I'll add her to the other NFCU card. I'm sure I will carry another card with GE benefit so we'll all be covered when it comes time to renew. Or, maybe one of the big kids will get a card with GE benefit. We have time.

SOUTHWEST ELEVATED OFFERS VIA SUPPORT LINK ARE SET TO EXPIRE ON 9/21/20.
DoC even posted a reminder about it here.

There is a way to leverage these elevated offers into a 2021/2022 companion pass... but I'm going to warn you IT IS RISKY!!!

I have written up a new fireside chat on the SW CP strategy with current elevated offers and put it on the DISchurners news thread. I laid it out as best I could - do with that information what you will. I have a busy week coming up at work so I won't necessarily be able to help each person with an individual strategy so if this sounds too complicated for you...perhaps steer clear or see if somebody can assist you in navigating it! Good Luck!

We use 1Password here.
I use Lastpass. I really like that it syncs across all my devices through Chrome as well as my Android phone.

Anybody have any experience with Iberia Airlines? I'm still dreaming of a european vacation and really want to do so in the front of the plane.

I thought it was cumulative. Checking.

I think it is but it's sort of confusing since you can earn two credits.
This is my concern with trying to use this offer. Amazon so often splits up your purchase of several items and ships them all separate, or at least they do this with almost everything that we personally buy. Please let us know if the credit comes through!
The details do say 'spend a minimum of $50 in one or more transactions online at Amazon' so maybe it will work after all.

1P does the same, but we are on all Apple devices, and I'm not sure if that changes things.

Ugh. Used the AmEx on Amazon for the cash back offer, but they split up the charges. Guess I'm out of luck? Only $34 of my $66 order was charged so far.
I had a Superstores offer on one of my Amex cards, and the purchase got split into two separate charges, but I got the $5 credit still even though each charge was under the $50 required for the offer (they added to just over $50).
Was just able to pull up a 50k MR 2k spend in 6 months for AMEX Green card through my support link. Between that and the 60k Gold I’m torn 🤔
Personally I'd get the Gold over the Green unless you'll spend more on travel than on groceries & dining. And like @Judique said, definitely don't self support.

Where are you seeing the 60,000 gold? I've been waiting and trying to find that one.
Private browser in Safari using my support link

Not sure if this is self referring, but you don't want to do that, as Amex has been known to claw back bonuses if you use your own referral.
Not to worry, I should have clarified the card is for DH. 👍🏻

Thank you. I was all excited for the elevated Gold offer, but 50k for the Green peaked my interest.

If by chance this is DH's first Amex, you can try applying directly (and maybe incognito) to see if the offers are better. I just did this recently, described here
Thank you for your suggestion. He has the Aspire, but out of curiosity I checked his offers. Definitely better through my support.

Pop up question: if he gets the pop up on the Gold is the general consensus that he’ll probably get it on the Green as well? Or should I try him for a Amex credit card? I also don’t want to apply him for too many cards if he keeps getting the pop up, right?

All of the Dell Credits have made my Xbox Series X free when preorders go up on Sept 22nd. Between the $400 from the Amex Biz Plat and that $100 offer that was on my normal Platinum I got $500 in credits. Plus found a $60 for $48 deal on Newegg last week. Pretty wild to basically pay nothing for a new console.

I better put that date on my calendar because I will hear about it if somehow DS doesn't get the Xbox Series X for Christmas and frankly, I just don't want to hear about it!

Yay approved for CFU from DH's support link (had been denied end of July, guess it had been too close to the other 2 cards I opened in 2020). Link was weird, couldn't paste it directly, had to type it out instead. Says I will receive my card in 3-5 business days. The 5% on grocery will be nice as I plan to downgrade my Blue Cash Preferred to Everyday soon.

Cancelled my Surpass today also. Can't justify the AF with no annual free night like my Bonvoy and so little travel happening right now.

we dont 100% know but they seem to be popped up by product types... so if poptart on Gold, ur likely to poptart on green. Try a CoBrand.

UGH....my refi was "right there" then underwriting needed more stuff. They were aiming to close 9/1 and now I haven't heard from them since 9/3. I guess the good news is, my summer taxes are to be paid 9/14. So I guess I won't have to worry about the prepay on that PLUS having the possibility of my escrow paying and then waiting for someone to pay me back, LOL.

I would like this wrapped soon as October is always my go to for new cards to meet the spend with Christmas, LOL. Right now I'm just rotating through which card makes more sense and I guess aiming to get the FN w/ the Surpass.

Trying to also plan somewhere for my BF and I to go in October for a long weekend. He's off the entire month (took a month off to help w/ no furlough w/ their pilots. And October is my bday month. I'm pushing for Charleston, I have a friend there. But he was thinking out West. We'll see. I'm a beach/ocean girl and he knows it, LOL.

Those with experience in Europe- I'm looking for some advice on planning a Europe trip with me, DH, DD21 and DD18. The cities we're most interested in are Paris, Venice, and Rome. Paris is for me :) I really really want to go to Disneyland Paris. Venice is on the list because of DD. It's a city she's wanted to see for as long as I can remember. And Rome is for DH. (DS wants Israel and that's a whole other trip for another time). Not sure if those cities are ideal to pair together, but it will likely be the only time the 4 of us go to Europe together as my kids are getting older and will be doing their own things soon, so we want to hit those cities. Here are my thoughts- I'm hoping for some advice as I have no experience in this area...
Planning to fly from US to Paris on Virgin Atlantic hopefully transferring UR/MR and finding Delta One flights for 50,000 miles per person. I'm seeing some availability for that now, so hopefully it'll be there when the time comes. We are looking to stay at Marriott's Village d'ile-de-France. I like that place because of the space we'll have with the 4 of us. Hoping to fly into Paris and take shuttle to hotel and get settled in. Looks like train into Pairs from the hotel isn't too long or too much $, so thinking we'd spend late afternoon/evening of first day and the full second day in the city. Then spending day 3 and 4 at DL Paris. Either that night or the next morning (which is better?) fly from Paris to Venice. Recommended airline? Take shuttle to hotel- looking at Crowne Plaza Venice East - Quarto d'Altino because it is bookable for a family of 4 on points with IHG. Location says it's right across from a train station and reviews seem to indicate it's an ok location for getting to the main areas of Venice. If we fly into Venice on night 4 we'll probably just spend all of day 5 in Venice and then morning of day 6 head to Rome. Is it better to go by train or to fly? Not sure yet where we'll stay in Rome. Having difficulty finding any place that will allow you to book a room for 4 with points, so wondering if we're going to need to book 2 rooms, or pay cash for a double or a suite. Advice on that would be great. Will likely fly home AA because we'll have a lot of points with them.
Points we'll need: Virgin Atlantic 200,000 (UR/MR)/ Marriot approx 120,000-160,000 depending on 3 or 4 nights/ IHG 15,000-30,000 depending on 1 or 2 nights/ AA not sure what we'll need. Also need to figure out flights Paris>Venice>Rome.
Other questions- is there any need for renting a car or will shuttles/trains be enough? Also, when you travel to multiple cities, where do you keep your luggage on those in-between days when you've checked out of one place but not into the next yet?
Appreciate any advice!! This is the best plan I've been able to come up with but if anyone with experience sees something that doesn't sound right or make sense I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I can only help with Paris Venice to Rome: We took the express train which was comfortable and had good clientele. They insist the large bags go in the bins on the ends of every car. But at one of the stops (even the express had a few stops) someone stepped on and took one of our luggage back off and was gone. It had few hundred in cash, a Murano glass sculpture, work computer, work cell charger, some jewelry, and clothes.

So if you do the train, try to sit where you can see your bags through the tinted windows on the doors and/or get up at the stops to watch them. Otherwise the train was fine. BTW train authorities and Rome police (who didn't really speak English) were of no help.
