We don’t even have a blender lol. Do you think we should just get the smaller one then?

I would just make it monthly, I never bought baby food. It was so easy.

The kids only liked the 'sweet' baby food (fruits) so I learned to fix up our regular food for them. It involved making basic things without a lot of salt seasoning. Lots of chicken, carrots, green beans and rice or potatoes or any roasted meat with very little added seasoning.

I just placed my order, I got two pairs of Vince Camuto boots (I have a terrible time with finding shoes that fit so these will probably end up going back), a pair of Articles of Society skinny jeans, and a Carlson knit blazer to wear when I'm cold at work. Most of the items I wanted were already sold out too, but I'm trying these and will see if I like anything. I do love their free shipping and free returns. Makes it too easy to order things just to try!

I'm not sure if it matters to you, but just wanted to make sure you were aware that the points requirement for getting direct benefits is rumored to be changing from 100 to 125 points on Oct. 1st.
I think I saw a cute pair of Vince Camuto boots but then I had a discussion with myself about how I'll only be leaving the house for groceries for the forseeable future so I resisted.
When does the Short Pump store close? Wonder if they'll have any sales.

ETA: Oh, snap, I see they're just straight up not reopening after they closed due to Covid. Wild.
yep. Never re-opened. Now Saxon is bankrupt. Everything’s going to pot.

4 years from now will be a different world. LOL. I considered a MDD also, but ultimately decided against it. With no travel on the horizon for 2020 and who knows how much of 2021 and my Amex Gold (my oldest card...never getting rid of it) earning 4X on groceries, I decided to wait on the CSR until better travel times.
Exactly, we have no idea if or when we will travel again, so one card at a time slowly is my plan for now. I also recently upgrade my Amex blue to a preferred so now I will get 6x at groceries with it.

Adorable , I just bought my son something similar at bed bath and beyond for Hs college apartment.

Did you just steam large batches at once then? Ideally we’d like to do stuff like broccoli and carrots but I’m not sure how well some of the food processors handle those. We don’t have a steamer either so can we just steam stuff on the stove in pots?

I made baby food for both of my kiddos, and would do large batches at a time. I would use ice trays to freeze the purees, which made it easy for portioning. It definitely wasn't something I did on demand! We did all kinds of fruits and veggies. We had been gifted a 12 cup food processor for our wedding, so that's what I used - I can't be of much help there!

I did the same, including meat... I would bake the meat, let it cool, pureed it and froze it. Started both girls on meat at 7 months.

I was able to get Chase to add the 5x grocery perk to CFU because I applied for it about a month before the promo came out. And they are going to retroactively apply it to all my grocery purchases. So always good to ask!

Also was able to get Chase to delete DW's CFP from my credit report! Should be able to get another Chase card in about a month! Thinking either a hotel card or a just a CF card. Currently have a CFP, CFU, SW Plus, and BA Cash Rewards(Alaska downgrade.) Also going to upgrade my CSP to a CSR on my 1 year anniversary as we have over 200k UR points banked. So that alone will be worth upgrading as they will be worth about $500 more on redemption through the UR travel portal and want to get 3x points on a DWorld on property trip booked for November.

So I came up with a plan to do Amex biz green, starting with the 25k referral from my Amex Gold over to DH and then from DH back to me. Then when we were done with that spend I would downgrade my CSR (December AF) to a CSP, refer DH and do a MDD. First part of the plan worked- DH got his approval. Then I got the dreaded pop up :scared1:. I use my gold card pretty decently so it surprised me.

Back to the drawing board I guess. Haha!

oh no!

Thank you both!

Is there a certain number to call, or just what Google says?
I know the Chase number, but Amex is a new world for me.

And sorry folks, but after checking every supportal in incognito, I was better with a 75k (new customer?) offer.

Haha --- I've got a 30K on my gold and I haven't listed it. It's tempting!
Edit: called oldest daughter who has never had the gold and let her know of the new offer plus my above. Maybe she'll go for it. She has only one plat left at the moment.

Where did you get the 75K offer?

Where did you get the 75K offer?
Just went to AmericanExpress.com > Cards (at the top) > View All Credit Cards (from dropdown)

The Gold was really the only one that looked better than usual. The Platinum was NOT near 100k.

ETA: Be ready to apply, because you might not see that offer again? Today I get the 35k +$250.

Here was my one-time offer

It's pretty much for new people and through a public or targeted prequel offer. I already have a couple amex and couldn't get better than 35k with a 250 statement credit unless I used a new browser with the public offer and another new browser with a support link and it was for the 60k which I was fine with.

If you can get the 125k plat that's better though. But same type thing, pre qual or cardmatch, new to amex.

depends on how you look at it. if you used a support link that shows a 60k, u could come out ahead(15k+ 60k). If you did not, then yes, 75k would have been better...
60k is still a great offer though. when i got my gold, it was only 50k. you win some, you lose some.

as for reconsideration line, i just googled it. says 800 567 1083.
