This is (kind of) off topic but this is the most helpful thread on the DIS and we're chatty tonight so...let's stay I book 5 nights at a Disney resort. Then later on I make a second reservation adding 2 nights on to the beginning of my trip at the same resort and call to make sure both reservations are linked up in the system. Will I have one FP window at 60+ days encompassing both stays (for 7 nights), or will it be broken up (one FP window for the 2 night stay, one FP window for the 5 night stay)? Does that make sense?
The whole window should - SHOULD! - open at the same time.

A little survey: how many folks are planning on going to WDW for the 50th anniversary in 2021?

This is an interesting question. We’ve been every year for the past 10 years, usually 2-3x per year. But we’ve been slowing down with the kids growing older. That said I’m obviously interested in everything going on, but at the same time don’t want to go when there will be crazy crowds to see said interesting things. Sounds a bit like the problem they’re having with Galaxy’s Edge. I’m sure I’ll be there at some point. No use fighting it.

I *think* it should let you book for both stays. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. I know we’ve done it before with split stays but idk if anything has changed

Thanks! I realized I hadn't looked in quite the right place and found the answer on the FastPass master thread - yes, we should be fine. I know that wasn't the case for a while earlier in the year but it seems to have been fixed now.

Just completed a very painful evening of homework. 5 hours...and he still did not get everything done. Just ridiculous for 8th grade. And he has 5 tests on Thurs so tomorrow will be equally painful. As much as he wants to go back to public school, I think I am ready also.

And now, I need to do laundry since Polo sent me the wrong pants.

Ugh, 4 am is going to come quick.
As a night owl, I initially read this as you were staying up until 4am to get things done LOL. 3am is my limit LOL! Now I realize you probably mean that’s when you wake up (I think??)

I use the app daily! It is the only way to keep myself honest. I just figured out what I can eat for my snack tonight.

I do, too. Except when I travel because it's just too hard then. It definitely keeps me on track when I'm using it though.

No plans, but 2021 is a long way off. I guess it would depend if I could somehow book another dream trip to some new destination or not. Will Epcot be finished by then? I do want to go when all the new stuff opens.

We are dog sitting for BIL, they have two Red Heelers

My sister has had a couple cattle dogs. One blue, one red. The blue one was epic, just an awesome dog, followed her everywhere, obsessive with the fetching, great guard dog (especially when my sister’s ex stalked her) The red was a rescue from a hoarder situation and sadly she was just nuts. Food aggressive, other dog aggressive, plus had some weird immune system thing where she would run intermittent fevers of 104-105.

Now I get to wait for a Serve card in the mail.

Honestly before this thread I never cared once what was in my mailbox. I never had anything to look forward to!

ETA: What a sad life!
Oh I totally understand that! I never got anything in the mail before starting this.

Oh yes, I am the same way! I do it in preparation for all my trips. No way I could track a day at WDW and be within my calorie range. Even with all the walking. Maybe 1/4 of a B&C sundae haha

This is my little buddy right now. He’s such a big baby. He loves to put one arm around mine like he’s holding onto me

@Haley R I scrolled by your post and thought "did I accidentally post a picture of my cat on the DISboards?!" Mine has a little more white on his nose but their coloring is very similar otherwise and he also likes to snuggle up to us and monopolize our time.

Surprisingly, I have never gained weight at WDW. I don’t skimp, eat whatever I want but the walking definitely counteracts my intake. Plus we don’t do sit down meals most of the time. Maybe one or two sit down meals and the rest are quick serve or snacks, especially at F&W/F&G. We like to snack our way around Epcot.
We had a 17 day trip to China about 10 years ago. Ate everything in sight but walked like crazy, lost 20#. I think it was the walking plus the stress and jet lag.
I need to start using MFP again. I got locked out of my account and never bothered to fix it.

Check your Southwest flights if you have any in November-February! They are running one of their 3 day sales and my redeye to NOLA on President's Day weekend dropped 2k points. Not much but it's worth it!
We will be in NOLA for Spring Break. Report back if you find any new fun places to eat. We’ve been a couple times but not in quite a few years and we’re always open to something new (and delicious)

Haha that’s funny! They might be twins!!! He loves when I’m reading so he curls up next to me. He’s my little library cat. He also loves rubbing his face all over my books lol
