Traffic isn’t bad at all on the way to Orlando. We saw TONS of linemen and power trucks heading south on I-95.

Good to hear that traffic is still lighter! The power trucks go where they are needed. I've seen them often traveling through on 95.

I got an email from dvc today about scheduling a tour on my upcoming trip and I'll get a $50 gc. Very much considering it because I think it'd be interesting. How close to the trip can I wait to book it? I would do it instead of DS which I'm totally up in the air about going to so I want some time to think about it.

I hadn't even thought of this option to use the Delta promo... I was playing around with summer 2020 options last night and didn't see (or think to look) for park tickets. We have a Fall 2020 WDW trip planned. We don't need hotel in Orlando (DVC) so I didn't even price packages there.

So, if I read correctly, if you cancel you get a Delta credit/voucher for the package amount? Can the voucher be applied to any Delta flights? I could use the tickets at Disney (and upgrade to DVC AP) and the flights for whatever we end up doing summer 2020. Does that sound right?
Unfortunately, you can't use the Delta vacations voucher on just flights. You can use it on flights + hotel (2 night minimum in US), flight + car (5 night minimum), hotel + car, or hotel only. Frequent Miler had a good writeup on it. You could always book flights plus a throwaway hotel or car with the voucher, but you have to hit the minimum nights.

Thinking of everyone in Dorian's path today. Stay safe!

We've got all our stuff brought in from outside. Just made one last Publix run and DH was happy to score some flashlights since ours have gone missing and 2 Targets on Friday were picked clean. Planning to head to Epcot in a little bit to check out Food and Wine and de-stress.

Probably can schedule it that day or the next. They are always doing tours

Our electric went out for a couple of hours last week. Before we left to go to dinner, I decided to hunt down some flashlights in the event we were in the dark on our return.

Eventually I (easily) found 5 different lights - 3 of which were in the toy boxes I keep for the grands. I really over buy this stuff. But I did locate my favorite flashlight that we've had a long time. Daughter and her friends named it Robocop on a JROTC camping trip. The name stuck and it's a powerful light that I mostly use for outside activities. It's a stainless steel mag lite that takes 3 D cells.

Ok cool. I'll do it before I go because it's my arrival day and I'll want it early afternoon. I wouldn't want to have to remember to call that day after taking a red eye in :)

I was just thinking that I remember @speedyfishy getting $75 per person when they scheduled it in park or somewhere at Disney.

I hope everyone here gets to a safe place and this storm decides veer off to sea!
...anddd..... P2 got instant approval on CIP2! :cool1: that was a lot faster than the first app!
ETA it was already in the account page when I looked right after posting this...wow! SM'd asking to expedite.... I hope we get it while the Staples sale is still happening.... is it too soon to request an employee card?(for me) or is that a bad idea since I'll be apping in a few months for #2 (I hope)

ask for a renovated room!
I just took whatever was ready. I asked for a microwave in the standard room first and they said that’s only for medical purposes. We were able to pay $114 total for the 4 nights to get a standard studio. Our view is out to the Sunset Savannah so not bad. The microwave was really what we wanted so we could make food. One cat is exploring and the other is hiding lol

We're at the swan now. Our flight home is scheduled for 5pm tomorrow night. So far I think we're looking okay still for that. If so, we had preemptively bought some supplies at publix on Friday. If we get out tomorrow, we're going to have a bunch of water, chobani tubs, cold cuts, eggs, cheese, English muffins, among other things. If anyone here is around and wants. Let me know! We'll see what happens. I do have flights booked tues and wed on sw points to ISP just in case (and corresponding rental cars to get us home). But hoping we can get on the united 5pm tomorrow to EWR.

Has anyone heard if @amalone1013 flew out? And, safe travels, @marsh0013 .

Since you are in a studio, you have access to a free laundry room although you have to buy the soap.

And, if I'm remembering correctly, the Sunset Savannah means you are near the front of the hotel as opposed to 5 miles up the corridors! Or maybe that's the value studios I'm thinking of.

Thanks, I will read more on the link!

You need to hold the card to generate a support link for it. Unless you PC your current cards to CFU and CSP you will be unable to generate support links for those cards. (And I’m not suggesting that PCing makes sense - just pointing out that it’s possible).
Thanks for confirming! That's what I was suspecting.
