Sounds like it's overheating. I've fixed a friends by removing all the lint from underneath her filter and from the vent tube thingy that goes to the outside. And I have a free one in my basement that still works......A year ago I bought a new set and kept the working dryer to either give away or put on CL.

Are you a dryer repairman? Can you tell me what’s wrong with mine?? Haha Mine gets “stuck”. I turn it on and it doesn’t spin. I can manually move it a tiny bit then it seems to work. I’m thinking the belt, but it seems like a belt would either work or not work and not the sometimes works. I’m afraid to take it apart thinking I might actually break it when I can so far get it working with my push. I’ve told all the kids to make sure it’s spinning, but worried it’s going to burn the house down if it does stop.

You may honestly be able to sign-up for the free D23 membership and get it now if you're interested. It comes to $3.92 a month for 3 years (140.97 charged today). I honestly don't think I will find it cheaper and assume the price will only go up.

Great idea! I have hulu - so I was waiting to see if it would be offered as some kind of add on in a package. But maybe just doing this would be better.

Says the guy who is coopting P3 and P4 to continue his game. And then continued by guys who haven't been in the game much longer than 2 years, and so can't consider life after 3+ years like many "old timers" on the sub are at. Since AmEx is per "lifetime", once you've had your fill of cards in the post popup world, appeasing the RAT while waiting for NLL offers could actually limit the amount of sign ups accumulated. So a bit of flaw in their argument.

But I guess,yes, as a star past their prime it's time to go back to the minors... with just your boatloads of points and memories to keep you company... such a hard job but someone has to do it...

Technically mine is a snowblower, but yes, it's awesome! It's the most memorable redemption of MR we ever made at least. It's about the only time I actually thank AmEx when I pull it out

I'm some kind of basic d23 member that came because I was/am dvc some years back. I don't even remember signing up, but apparently I did because I was able to log in. I'm checking it out now, but with the basic ms I'm not seeing a special offer.

In that vein, my personal trainer (which sounds much more chi chi than it is, I swear) asked me about the Amex gold today. He was pre-approved for 40K MRs with a $2K MSR. I actually (I know shock) discouraged him from this since he has no plans to use the MRs and he doesn't like the idea of an AF. I gently explained that if you don't have a plan for the bonus, getting one to have one isn't necessarily the best idea. Instead, I encouraged him to look at Chase cards or consider the BBP (he has a legit business). So see, even this MR-lovin' fool can see things from another perspective.

If I told that guy I planned to cash out AA miles at 0.4cpp for Disney Gift Cards and that earning more than 150k a year was a problem because that's the limit of what you can cash out... His head would EXPLODE!!

Thanks for this. What are your thoughts about buying gift cards at office supply stores just to keep the Am Ex Rat happy? Not worth it since they can see it's gift cards?

I would not use ANY Amex card to buy GC at office supply stores due to L3 data being sent. You will most likely NOT get points and anger the RAT. I would buy them at grocery stores where currently no L3 data is sent.

I swear my blood pressure goes up every time I read one of pizzy's comments. What good is acquiring tons of points that don't work into your travel plans and you won't even use just for the sake of acquiring points?
