I did too so you are not alone!! In retrospect I actually quite liked the two new stand alone Star Wars movies and would watch either of them any day of the week over any of the movies in the trilogies.

1) why wait to be 0/24 before hitting personal cards again? You obviously play a long game so I suspect you have your reasons!

2) I had no idea I could highlight sections of a comment with my curser on my iPhone & quote/reply to that section only! SO much better than deleting line after line of slightly unrelated content- has this always been a DIS feature?!

With my work schedule, every 6 weeks I get a stretch where I only need to use 2 vacation days and I get 18 days off. I generally plan my trips around these stretches off. My fall trip happens to start the second weekend in Oct. this will be during Columbus Day and school break for some. I’m a little worried about crowd levels and patiently waiting for our flights there to drop in price.

Citi AA Biz 2 data point. Closed my citi aa biz via chat after about 100 days (dummy booking $250 credit + 40k miles). 5 minutes later applied for another using dummy booking method ($200 credit + 40k miles). Approved the following day. Purchased a $50 AA gift card as a test last week. Statement closed yesterday and received a $50 credit.

I really liked Rogue One, much more than expected. Like, I was indifferent going in. I keep telling DH I'm going to rewatch the originals... I saw them once, in a marathon day on a snow day, when I was 15 I've never seen the prequels.

My son loved all of them, so I have watched them multiple times with him. But I’m not that big of a fan myself.

I wish there was a value option for 5, other than fam suites. I'm like you. Once I am there, I just want to rest knowing 'We're there' and tucked away nicely. Which is why I am paying for two rooms at Pop. We've also done MCO Hyatt but we still need a suite or two rooms so might as well get thyselves to WDW.

One of the reasons we bought DVC was because we are a family of 5. We loved the idea of having more space yet still staying together in one one villa instead of having two rooms.

My dh is pretty tolerant of all this cc stuff. I've never asked him to do anything more than call, which he doesn't like but he will do. I think much of that is that his days are so busy, and he has no free time, so calling these companies and being on for 30 mins is a huge deal. I'd never ask him to go to a store or anything else. It's just not gonna happen while he's this busy with his job - and new job is a billion times busier

My return flight from MCO in November says it’s a Max 8. I didn’t think about it when I was booking,....

This is assuming the Max 8s are back in service come November. United's September schedule was glitched and was showing flights on the MAX even though they had no intention of reintroducing MAX flights until after September.

You might also be able to call into the airline and get your flights changed for free to another flight that day not being flown on the MAX.

He has his own log ins, but I made them and take care of all of them. He will use whatever card I ask him to. But I pay most of the bills and do most of the spending.

My husband is exactly like yours...he does not manage cards, I have set up the log ins and use them....we have been married 35 years and he has never paid a bill and has no interest in doing so...as long as his credit score stays high....he is happy.
Depending on the 3rd 5% categories I may want to PC his CFU to a CF....and am dreading asking him to call...so I may have to try to do it first

Y'all, just a vent...All our MK days for our upcoming trip have gone up according to TP's This *should* be a slower time. A lot of kids are going back to school, and what kind of decent parent is pulling their kid out the first week rotfl. I'm kidding...if you are *that* parent lol. Anyways, SWGE isn't open yet, it's surface of the sun hot, hurricane season and it's first weeks of school for like70% of the country. So, what gives people!?!

Our schools here in CO go back either the first or second week of Aug (depends on district). I thought most of the south was same - I know TX & GA go back early. I want to say my cousin in Houston area said her kids go back first week of Aug.

We’re back to school here on the 12th but I’ve been receiving lots of emails from WDW with FL discounts so maybe they knew TP had predicted low crowds and decided to bribe us to up the level?

I just cancelled DH's CSP instead of PCing it to CFU. Then opened a new CFU for him to get the 3% for a year....

Actually that’s a little misleading. A shot of espresso has 75 mg, 12 oz of Nitro Cold brew has 215 mg and 12 oz brewed Pike Place Roast has 235 mg. I think the “no Venti” is a marketing ploy because they’ll sell you a Venti Pike Place with 410 mg. You can also buy double caffeine Starbucks K cups with 260 mg caffeine. 7 Eleven coffee has been tested as the highest caffeine content for you caffeine junkies.

OMG I think that would kill me. lol Good thing I don't like coffee. I can ony brew my tea for about a minute, otherwise I feel the caffeine in it. And I use the same tea bag for like 3 cups. Maybe it is just my imagination, as I don't know the science of how the caffeine gets into the actual tea i drink, but I just feel really bad if I try to do 2 fresh tea bags within a certain time.

And over 4 pages while I slept. lol Bunch of night owls.

And now I am all caught up and I see I only missed a bunch of Star Wars critiquing that I just pass over because Spoiler Alerts for me haha. I am still yet to watch any episode and it confuses the heck out of me that they don't go in order.

And DS starts school August 20. DD21 starts August 21 and DD18 starts August 27.

I just feel like if my kids were back in school on Aug 12, I'd be done with vacations the weeks before. What is weird is that we are at WDW Aug 5-15. Our days at the beginning and at the end have all increased.

I'm in TN and one of mine goes back Wednesday the 7th and then my other doesn't go back till 8/21. Different schools (ones still in public school, the other in private) so they start at different times - a parents dream! And my youngest "fall" soccer started in July. But I do have to say that due to the early school starting time in August, there have been years that we were vacationing right up till the day before school started. Not ideal but sometimes that's the only time it works for everyone's schedules. I still have to think that it won't be too crowded while your there, I think it may because of the "change over" in the seasons in terms of scheduling CM's. I do know that we went one year over LD and I was surprised how low the crowds were. I just thought a 3 day weekend would make it still be semi-busy.

Well - I just failed to close my wife's AA biz card via chat tonight. I even pushed back a little and was told they don't have access to my account. Strange... Oh well, I'll just try again some other day. She can't get another card until early September anyways!

In other news...it's August now (did you guys realize that???). To anybody who says you can't make it back from "lol/24" (wow do I still hate that term), I am now 1/24 - all the way back from 34/24 in Sept 2017. Next month I'll be 0/24!

Yes, very similar - married 26 years and he has never paid a bill nor written a check. He really doesn't even care about his credit score since he never looks at such things. But, it is high and he is happy with the way things are. He had to call before opening two of his recent cards because I had our credit reports frozen and for some reason I couldn't get his PW to work to unfreeze them. He was not a happy camper making that looooong phone call.

I understood what you were saying! Just wanted to make sure others realized there is a $50 option. I use that option when I have $5’s and $10’s I need to use up. Never have seen $50 in the store!

They have the $50s in the Sam’s I go to in Hanover, PA. I was debating what to get for my current FL visit since I knew we were eating at Trail’s End one day. Of course, getting Tiki Bird raincoat put a little wrinkle in the plan.

Oh, just an FYI, the weather has been horrible Wed through Fri. The mornings start nice but by the afternoon is pouring through the evening. It looks like that pattern is supposed to continue today through next week thanks to some tropical fronts that are at least falling apart. I just hope for clear weather when we come back on the 15th and that we can make it out of here on time for our 8:25 pm flight this evening. Since it will after 1 am when I get home.

DHs family is! They leave wed morning and come back on the 13th. Their high school freshman son starts the 14th...

Were a bit on edge for this trip as DHs aunt is going - it's her son, his wife, and kid and they're a dysfunctional family unit, and aunt doesn't do well in the heat.

I’m upset too, we’ll be there 10-18th. As soon as they announced SWGE previews I knew crowd would increase. I checked hotel availability when previews were announced and there was tons of availability, now not so much. Every YC/BC room is sold out
