Annual fee just posted on my wife's CSR and CSP from my double-dip last year. I am planning on keeping the CSR. Thinking about closing the CSP. What would you do?

I think you are in the right to be upset. At a minimum, they should be providing you with the 38,200 URs in return for this issue and they should have gladly done that immediately. That of course does not value your time or frustration. I'm not sure you're going to reach a better resolution - it seems these days that we all are having more and more "terrible customer service" stories (my issue with Universal Tickets feels a lot like this). It's really a shame - I have no advice, but I can say that I totally would feel the way you do about the situation right now.
On your Universal ticket issue, I inquired with the Concierge at CityWalk last night and she said that the vouchers are not tied to a specific person. So it seems like your sister should be ok to pick up all 8 tickets. When she picks up the tickets the names are assigned.

I have a couple of questions. I am trying to figure out what card/what order to do next. I am usually 1 player only bc DH is anti credit cards. However I go to him to agree to get 1 card in the next year to help pay for our cruise in 2020. Originally I was going to have him go for the SW visa to help with our flights. Now I’m thinking maybe go for the CIP for him. That way I can refer myself in a few months when I am back under 5/24.

Question- If I open Dh a business card will it go right on his chase online acct? (He had a Chase Ink Cash up until to last year when he sold his real business he used the card for)
Since he doesnt really like doing card stuff I don’t want to mess with his chase online acct. I’m guessing since he already had a business card online there won’t be any issue like merging personal/business acct?

I have 4 $100 VGCs from the Safeway promo last week. I want to turn them into Disney GC any idea what’s the best way to do this? RMN and Sam’s Club? Ebates and shop Disney? Does that track?

Edit: NVM it looks like Sam’s Club is gone from RMN. Shop Disney is at 6% which I have had luck with before.

it depends on what login DH is currently using. If he is using the his original login that had the CIC, then the new CIP would most likely appear as soon as he gets the approval message. If hes using his personal login, then it would not appear and mess with his login, you can then either create a business login for him that would only contain his CIP.

I PCd it to CFU cuz I didn't have one and I don't max out CF categories. (I can max out categories or hit MSR... been picking MSR :) )

I'd try to PC first unless you already have 2 CFs and a CFU. In that case then, yeah, probably cancel.

Are you also considering doing the switcheroo? It's outlined in a couple posts somewhere, PC the CSP to a CSR, PC the CSR to a CF/CFU to double up the travel credit? Been a couple odd cases of being denied a PC that someone asked for, so there's that possibility. But I wonder if you can have two CFs why not two CSRs? (However briefly you'd hold them until you could downgrade/cancel the other :) ) Not recommending anything, just putting it out there.

I have thought about doing the switch...but I have 3 hotel stays booked through my current CSR......so not sure if I want to lose the travel protection

Don't close it, PC it to one of the freedom cards.
Last night my somewhat-reluctant P2 called Chase and PCd his CSP to a CF. When I explained his options (keep or PC), he said "wait, why would I pay an annual fee for this card (CSP) when I just got this card (Gold) with better bonus categories?" :thumbsup2

And then he came back to me an hour later to repeat what I had said-----"this Gold card for everything that takes amex, the new non-metal card (lol) for the 5x quarters and stuff that doesn't take amex, right?" :love2::rotfl:

Anyway, we chose a second CF over the CFU because, based on the past year's quarters, we can max out most of the categories. Gas is really hard and restaurants aren't much easier.

RMN is highly YMMV but tracks sometimes for shop Disney...

I have 2 CF's and a CFU in my name. The CSR and CSP are in her name. Not sure if I need a third CF...

Considered the old switcheroo, may need to read up more on it.
