Yay for George!
I actually do not have a chiro, he died a few years after the accidents. I found my massage therapist after his death and she was so good I only once had the need for a chiropractic adjustment. The very highly respected and recommended one I chose hurt me beyond belief.
The really sad part to this whole saga is my dd. She was in the car both times and I was driving her car both times. First accident we were returning home after spending the day shopping for a concert. She was wearing a boot from a foot surgery so she couldn't drive. Her car was fixed. The second accident was on her 17th birthday. (We had made her wait until 17 to get her license so she was going to make the appointment for the following week.) We had gone into the city (thankfully I didn't want her driving) to go to her favorite place, Powells Books, and to get Voodoo donuts as her birthday cake. Some uninsured, unlicensed, high on heroine @$$H*)& plowed into us and his truck ended up in our backseat. Her car was totalled on her birthday and we both ended up having back surgery. It ended her volleyball career and she has a much longer life of pain and surgeries to look forward to.
To top it all off we had to sue our insurance company because they didn't want to pay our medical bills.
(OMG I swear my life comes straight out of a soap opera.)
