I’ve been looking too and I can add it, but of course now I can’t get sorcerer Mickey to go through, which has been there for days. And that’s what my son wants. And I think his want wins lol

I can't get anything to go through. I tried multiple combinations of genie, alien, sorcerer mickey, and dory and can't get any of them to work.

How hard is it to open a Chase total business checking account with a "business?"

I got a mailer and it seems like a really easy way to get $300 with only $1,000 tied up. It says I have to go into my branch though so I wasn't sure if I would be interrogated or questioned about my "business" and 2 CIPs opened in the last 6 months. That wouldn't be wroth $300 lol

I will check DoC, but figured I would ask here too!
It's not hard, there's not many issues I've read about (where a banker wants docs that aren't needed or other crazy things), and if you already have a biz card they have all your info and are basically just adding a new product to the account. Hubby did it earlier this year and no issues, gave the banker his info, banker saw that he already had a biz card, said 'this will be easy', asked a couple questions and all set. I wasn't with him but when he came back made it sound not hard at all, the tricky question of revenue was even easier as the banker said he could give an estimate or just use a preselected range. Any opportunity to be vague with a "business" hubby said, let's go with the range what do you have ? And basically the lowest range was "under a million" - yep, we'll go with that :)

That said, they will see your biz cards, but I doubt they'd look into that closely to see your opening dates or whatnot. It's not that you can't have multiple CIP's, it's just that you're not supposed to get the bonus on all of them. So up to you on that one.

Also, the requirement for the bonus is only 1,000 but to keep the account fee free you have to have a min balance of 1,500. There's no deposit or other transactions that will do it like the personal accounts. There could be another option that I don't recall, but if it's there it requires greater sums of money so I didn't even bother to remember it :)

I have PP on 4 cards now - LUX, biz plat, Hilton biz and CSR. Can I use 2 different PP cards to get a bigger group in? Are kids under 12 free?

I am also interested in the answer to this question. I had planned on cancelling my Hilton biz until I saw your post about the PP. I hadn’t remembered that this card came with PP options. For me, the 10 PP visits might be worth the annual fee. I also have the CSR and would like to use both if possible when we stop through Denver on our way to HI.

A "business" for sure! I've sold for her on eBay, so I guess I can be her employee 😂
My mom has been asking for me to get her a new card (I’ve created a mini churning monster) and she’ll be selling stuff at a garage sale next weekend plus I can post some of her stuff on FB...🤔 Normally I don’t think she could meet a $5k MSR but I know she has taxes due in August. So I guess my mom will have a “business”.

This actually might work for my MIL! She has been setting aside some things for me to sell for her on eBay (including one really ancient Apple computer that I think might actually be worth some money). I walked her through getting the CSR almost 2 years ago and that was the first new card she had gotten in at least a dozen years. FIL is in the "I have one credit card why would I need another?" camp and I'm just going to leave him there but MIL would see the value in the CIP.

Hi! Couple of easy questions this morning :-). First, DH applied and was approved for the SW card with the 60,000 bonus points. We made a couple of hefty charges for a home project which met our spend for the bonus. Unfortunately, since it won't stop raining in Wisconsin, we have to cancel the project which means returning the supplies. It is not my intention to get away with anything and quite honestly, I prefer to stay in good graces with SW. Will they take the bonus points away? We don't use the card for anything else, but would it be better for me to use it to "re-meet" the spend?

My second question is in regards to the Chase Freedom Unlimited. I see it's offering 3% cashback on all purchases for the first year. What do you guys/gals think about this and what would my limitations be in terms of prior Chase offerings and bonuses? As always, thanks for the help.

Amex account set up question - I have a biz log in but now have a personal Amex I need to set up a log in for. Can I add it to my existing biz log in or does it need to be separate? Also, if you can set them up together, is there a reason why I shouldn't? TIA!

I have mine all on my account. So much easier than another account to manage.

Yes, re-meet the spend. I don’t think Chase will clawback the bonus but it will keep you in their good graces.
As for the CFU, pretty sure @SouthFayetteFan has done a rundown of break even point and you’d be better off just going for another card with a sign up bonus than using that card for a year.

Applied for P2's CIP2 this morning. Got the need to review message, and in the past that's meant check back in 2-3 days so fingers crossed. It's a holiday week and heading into the weekend so I'm sure I won't hear until Mon/Tues anyway. I'm done with half of my MDD MSR and working on the second half. Deciding to DIY some of the house renovation means more work for us, but also more MSR!

I am waiting for CIP bonus to show as pending, so I can apply for one for DH. I want to make sure the Great Southern Bank funding works first.
Also waiting for my giant gift card purchase from Sams to post to my Arrival + so I can erase my UCT ticket purchase. The Sams isn't showing as pending anymore, and the gift cards were shipped yesterday. Come on, let's get it charged LOL.

Question on upgrading CSP in P1's name that has been open over a year to CSR - can points that are on P2 CIP then be transferred to P1 CSR so they can be redeemed at 1.5X?

Looking at booking package thru Chase portal for summer of 2020 and while we are short on points now do we just keep accumulating points until we have enough to book or is there a way to go ahead and book and then pay with additional points that will be earned in the upcoming 11 months?

Hope that made sense :)
