Quick question for all you experts - just got a CSP from DH's referral. I would really like to upgrade it to my very own CSR eventually, do I have to wait for a year, or can I do it once I hit the MSR and get the bonus? Thanks!

So 7/7 is 6 months, I can just transfer all of the funds out and then wait for the funds to hit my CU account and then SM to close.

Yikes! I just self referred myself for CIP#2 and was instantly approved with a $6k CL. The new card immediately showed up in my account so I sent a SM asking to expedite the card and received confirmation in less than 5 minutes that the card will arrive in 1-2 business days. The $5k spend will be a challenge but I can do it if I put absolutely all my expenses on the card and prepay some things. I don't want to prepay too much because it makes it that much more difficult to make the next MSR. The plan is to refer DS for his first CIP in the fall when property taxes are due, which will knock out a big chunk of the MSR.

I feel you on the $5000 being a challenge, which is why I won’t be partaking of the CIPpy cup. Kids are grown and it’s just me. Pretty low monthly spend. I will have so many Walmart, Costco, and Aldi gift cards that I won’t have to use cash or credit for months. I’m hoping to run out towards the end of the year so I can try for the SW companion pass. Fingers crossed they don’t change anything by then. The thing is, I don’t really NEED a companion pass, but I’m hoping I can convince the kids to take a free trip with mom.

I totally thought she was wrong so I ran to Google and I could not believe it.

Now when I see him doing interviews etc he doesn't look THAT young but the way they style him for the movies... it's crazy!

Just saw Spider-Man Far from home. I loved it. Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man. Go see it!

For those that fly out of DCA, where do you typically park? It was a lot cheaper to flight out of there than BWI for my girls getaway but, of course, I have no idea about the airport since it’s a 2 hr drive. We have 6:40 am flight so it will be very early morning for me.

We go by the as long as their 18 rule. Thankfully I haven't found any younger even when I was in my late 20's. This rule was instituted around 20 or 21 because I had a friend that was older than me and we both watched the junior hockey team here and they are 16-21, always had to make sure. Now it's the 'I could be their Mom so no'. Starting to get that way with MLB too, at least with the rookies.
