EDIT: Are you sure you saw CBR?? I just did a search for every weekend in Jan using 3 combinations (Fri-Mon, Fri - Sun, Sat - Mon)...so yes I just did 12 searches, lol and I saw nothing. It sounds very odd that only one Disney resort would have showed up. Could you have been looking at the map and thought it was CBR by chance but it really was a Bonnet Creek resort? I'd love to replicate this just to see that they are there, but I wasn't able to.

I am certain it was CBR. I had the dates Jan 10-13. They only had CBR available and only a preferred room. No other options. It was 137,000 or so points with the car rental. Of course, it is no longer available. I think they put it up just to mess with me. I should I have booked when I saw it. I doubled checked the dates to make sure I was looking Jan. 10-13,2020 when I saw it pop up because I thought maybe I had my dates mixed up.

I almost took a screenshot bc I had a feeling it would disappear and no one would believe me. But I thought that was being silly. Next time I will.

Wow, can't believe my luck! Just checked my SW flights for September again. Our return flight had dropped 720 points last week, getting me 4200 points back for all 6 of us. Now our flight down there dropped 720 points too! Just got another 4200 points back in my account! I'm up to a whopping 13,300 SW points now haha.

Whoa, thank you for posting! I just saved over 9k points on our flight to Orlando! I have been sad at how fast my stash dwindled post-CP. Now to check our return flight!

I thought so too! The show kept emphasizing the wife’s Russian heritage and financial ties the MIL had with some shady conspirators. It all went nowhere!

That whole season went nowhere. S1 was so good & then I felt like S2 was a complete mess with multiple loose ends and the “crisis of the week.” S3 is really so much better, although for me I think the show will never reach S1 level again.

@gottalovepluto I had not considered that pop up theory either. I know both DH and I have had a good streak of no pop ups since I have had been making the effort to put a little on every single stupid Amex card we both have every month (and that is like 14 cards!) But a couple weeks ago on impulse I went for the Plat for him and got a pop up with the reason of history of using 0% APR offers. We are floating a balance on his BBP right now (not even huge only about $3000). Using the 0% APR seems almost like a fake reason. I haven’t tried again though; with the Delta gift cards not working the value of the MR airline credit cards is on a downward trend for me.

Hahaha! I love it!! It’s so true. I am such an impatient person.

Fortunately, I am on the last season of a show on Netflix. I will need a new one soon!

Yes! The crises of the week with all the fake countries! Idk why they don’t just use the real country names. There’s enough going wrong in the world to adapt into several seasons of weekly crises. Probably didn’t want to jeopardize international distribution deals. Season 3 is better. It has a lot of interesting things to say about our politics and domestic issues. Keifer Sutherland is a really good actor and sells Kirkman’s idealism and common sensibility well.

I'm so ready! I just got my dad to get rid of his DirecTV and now they have Sling. He's always had Netflix, but only used it to order the new DVDs sent to his house SMH. He told me on Skype the other day that he binge watched both seasons of Stranger Things in like a week lol. So we are both very excited for the new season!

With the lack of Disney resorts in the AA portals I am really considering switching our Jan weekend in Disney to Universal. I would want the first night on Disney property to have transport to the race. Thinking maybe we can Uber to Universal. Is it easy to do? What type of cost is? How do we get from Universal to Mco?
I know I can rent a car but I dislike parking fees.
I think I am just annoyed at Disney and don’t want to give them anymore money. DD got pretty excited when I asked if she wanted to go to Universal.

I've hit the why did I sign up for a 5k that means I have to get up at the same time on a day off period of the night. Also happens on Friday's and Saturday's before runs. Hoping the fireworks don't wake me up again tonight as they have the past few nights. Also wish I knew which side of the street they were on so I could call it in since they are illegal here and I'm sick of them doing it year round as are the dogs. This is one thing I've turned into a grumpy old man/stay off my lawn thing about. I think living in CA and NC where they weren't legal for so long and being able to sleep around the 4th makes it worse too. But with the indian reservation's able to sell all kinds of fireworks we'll never totally get rid of them. And we used to enjoy them when I was growing up but it was never as bad as now or I was able to sleep through it better.

New Amex offer for Carnival - spend $350 get $75 credit. I've been waiting for this one. Put it on my Biz Plat, which needs to see some spend. Hope it eventually shows up on DH's Aspire, so it can go towards remeeting MSR.

So we will have paid for this cruise almost entirely with Amex offers, except for the deposit and the last odd $100 or so. $750/$150 x 2, $500/$100 x 2, and now the $350/$75 x 2. For a total of $650 off (thank you Amex!).

Did anyone else sign up for the official Barclays AA Biz for the 65k mile offer plus 10k miles for the purchase on an employee card? Not just ask for a match? Curious as DH and I have received our 65k miles each + 1k miles from the MSR but no 10k for employee purchases that were made right away, ~$2 purchases...

I did but the wrong bonus posted, only 60k miles and no bonus for the employee card purchases. I'm waiting for them to "research" it.
