Darn, SPG lux AF posted yesterday. Oh well, have gotten $570 of credit so far plus 100k pt upgrade offer plus will get 50k cert for about $480 in AFs.
I'm up for a new chase biz. Trying to decide btwn the new SW biz or another CIP. I SM'd to decrease some CLs today.
Here are my chase stats...just to make sure I am good to go on another Chase...
CIP/CIU 01/01/2018
SW biz 08/30/2018
SW personal 10/03/2018
CIP 2 04/01/2019
I am 4/24 overall. Look ok?
ETA: Now that I am counting, I have 7 overall chase cards. Is that too much? Maybe I should close something.
Not wendow, but chiming in.... I had 4 but closed SW Biz a few weeks ago. Plan to go for CIP 3 tomorrow. Still have 2 CIP and 1 CIC open. Dh has 4 open now, 3 CIPs and SW biz. Just got his last CIP last monthThat's awesome! How many biz cards does he have? I'm wondering if DH and I could go for CIP3 eventually, but that would mean 4 biz cards for me which makes me a little nervous.
Ok, I must be the only person who has never watched this show since it’s not Bravo, the Food Network or HGTV.
Your strategy looks good to me.....there are people here with 3 CIPs openOhhhhh CIPpy cup! Ok.... I hit MSR on my CIP (well I will before the due date thanks to property taxes)..... now to refresh- y'all are recommending more CIP,not CIU CIC? using same info as last app- space by at least 3 months? ------ I wouldn't refer myself anyway right? Against the rules?
Just trying to keep the details straight. Do you think odds are good for me and P2 both? he got CIP in Feb- referred me June 1, he'll be 4/24 in August.
So I was thinking our next steps is I refer P2 for another CIP in August, then he can refer me back from his CIP#2 for my CIP#2 (if all this works?) I have a hard time wrapping my head around this,it seems too simple.... do I have it right?

Ok, I am going to have to check out the bath sheets next time since I just keep increasing DS’s wardrobe.
How many personals did y’all have? Not wendow, but chiming in.... I had 4 but closed SW Biz a few weeks ago. Plan to go for CIP 3 tomorrow. Still have 2 CIP and 1 CIC open. Dh has 4 open now, 3 CIPs and SW biz. Just got his last CIP last month
I just started nurse Jackie b/c I finished Gilmore Girls and AYITL.And as far as the ending of that....#teamLogan
Thank you for this, as my runs are getting longer I'm getting much hungrier, but absent any decent options I'm eating far too much sugar. I'll pick up some beef jerky. Not sure why I never thought of it.
Are you thinking the charge needs to be under $100 to look like an incidental? I havent really looked into the credits because I was just planning on gift cards, but...Does Southwest charge each ticket separately? Since the Amex airline credit is not working for GC, thinking I might try a sub-$100 flight. Flight coming back from DL from LAX is the cheapest at $70. Flying with DD (age 7), so I can't buy them separately (without using a work-around). If the charge processes as $140, it won't work. If it processes at $70 x 2, maybe.
No dice here either for DHs old personalDoC is reporting a new round of targeted offers to upgrade the legacy Amex SPG/Bonvoy card to the Bonvoy Brilliant.

No mas for me (maybe because I already have a Bonvoy Brilliant?).
Note that @vanjust14 has been having a hell of a time with Amex honoring the bonus on the upgrade offer after she upgraded her card and met the MSR several months back. If you find yourself targeted for an offer and decide to accept it, take screenshots of everything just in case.
I will have to check Glenwood Springs, DH and I have talked about it for years but have never been. Last time I went to Breck I got really bad altitude sickness. Also I think Steamboat had an SPG property? Will have to play with itYes!! I’m always up for a staycation! We have three FN certs and since we need two rooms everywhere that I’d want to use them, something close to home makes more sense for us. I need to check our mountain options as well!
I’m a noob and you’ve been extremely welcoming to me, so ...
@DisneyMandC What are your trip dates? I'll be at BC 9/23-9/27 with my mom and uncle! I'm trying to plan our FP's and having a hard time deciding what to do for DHS. It will be interesting to see how busy SWGE is and also how busy the parks are for extra EMH. I'm planning on us going to the EMH at AK, MK, and DHS and I'm hoping it's worth it! Also looking forward to the MK DAH event on the 26th.
I was lucky-the Saks brand was on sale for $29.97 (reg $75!) and I didn't mind buying "linen" and "purple." It was a great suggestion-we always need towels here.

Closed 1 Amex in April, have 4 open, spending about 1k-3k each on the two newer ones over the last 2 months but little to no spend on the others. I’ve been lucky so far in that I haven’t put any extra spend on my Amex’s over the last year and I’ve chugged along fine, guess my Amex luck has run out for now and I’m gonna have to spend some money with them after all...
ETA: actually maybe I won’t. There are a few pop-up denials today, maybe I’ll just wait until we get a flood of “omg the pop-up went away” DPs and try again then. My theory is Amex uses the pop-up denial to manage their bonus expenses (meaning it’s more about Amex than it is an individual’s actual history) so maybe I should put my money where my thoughts are...
Well, I started to watch the first episode and didn't make it through so count me as probably the only person who didn't like it. Just not my cup of tea.Ok, I must be the only person who has never watched this show since it’s not Bravo, the Food Network or HGTV.
