Lol I have 37k and they're about to get cashed out to pay off the balance of my Disney trip.

Well that makes me feel better. I just don’t see the point in saving them when I can use them for something. We don’t have any huge travel plans in the near future. We talked about UK but I think we’re gonna hold off for now.

I get what you mean. I read on the bike and have started listening to audio books on the elliptical because I get bored, music doesn't do it for me. Plus I like a lot of older country music and will find myself going slowly to whatever song tempo I was never a running fan but I really hated doing it in the gym or an indoor track vs at least being outside. I enjoy dog walking lol.

My main problem is I get a headache when I read on the treadmill or bike. I’ve watched YouTube and Netflix but usually it’s something funny and I end up laughing out loud and have to turn it off lol. I just love being outside when I’m active but I can’t do that here right now lol. I looked up some workout places nearby that would be more like classes than just on my own. I found two that I’m interested in, just need to find the time to go in and try them out. One is called 9Rounds and the other is a place kind of like curves.

Looks like there are 3 of us with the same problem....I have tried on my iPad, iPhone and desktop...same 68 hotels show up for any dates I put in

I just looked at a random date in August on my chase app and I could see universal hotels. I can’t believe how cheap some of them are

FYI - Southwest has CHANGED their next release date. It will now occur on THURSDAY AUGUST 8th. It WAS previously supposed to be Wednesday July 10th.

You know what is super frustrating... CSP support links aren't working right now for some reason. And of course, during the purge today, I felt bad for 2 lost newbies on r/churning and helped talk them through how to do a MDD. They both asked for my link...I gave it to them but if they don't start working in the next 24-48 hours I won't get the clicks. C'mon Chase - help me out here, lol!!

(I did warn both users that the link isn't working and when it's time to pull the trigger on the 2nd card, if the link doesn't work they just have to go for it...I don't want them to screw up their own MDD while trying to help me out lol)

How weird you haven't been charged the AF yet. DH applied Friday, got his card and verified it today and the $95 AF is already posted!

Looks like I am taking a quick girls trip to Boston. Any Marriott or Hilton recommendations for a hotel with a free HH use my Platinum or Diamond status or must dos for 2 ladies? Best place for lobster?

I really like the Hilton Downtown Boston/Faneuil Hall. It’s a great location and you can quickly walk to Faneuil Hall, the North End (Italian food) and the wharf. The other option would be the Seaport District its close to the airport and has really blossomed over the years but it’s an Uber to the historical Boston (the commons, public garden. Freedom trail). Seaport district has some great restaurants. There is a Legal Seafood Harborside which despite being a “chain” they really have amazingly fresh seafood and great clam chowder. The harborside has a great rooftop bar but it’s very expensive. Look into the Barking Crab also. I tend to get my lobster in Maine or other parts too. Check out the North End for Italian food.

That’s the plan. 1st Time. Pops on the 3rd and fireworks closer to the hotel. Not wanting to deal with the 4th chaos in the Esplanade.

Stay far away it’s ridiculous. But the city has amazing energy and you can find lots of other spots to enjoy the fireworks!!!

Wow guys...

Finally came back from Japan and flew both ANA Business and First and it was AMAZING (me and SO had to split the F class flight as there was only one available for our dates). They are easily my favorite airline now. The seats felt a bit outdated in both First and Business but the flight attendants I flew with on both flights easily made up for it. Seriously the nicest attendants ever. Not to mention they had Wagyu Beef on the menu from Narita -> LAX! No Hibiki 21 whisky, but they had Johnnie Walker King George V.

At first I assumed me and SO were going to have to go to the Business Lounge when departing LAX (since ANA does not have a lounge in LAX), but we were granted access to the Star Alliance First Class Lounge which was definitely less busy than the Business Class side. The ANA First Class Suite in Narita is also an A+.

Thanks again everyone for the tips on churning over the past couple of years. I know I haven't been posting lately because life has been crazy, but I'm glad this thread is still alive and chugging along!

Which one of you got to keep the jammies? Lol! But great to hear. My husband and son are flying ANA business and first to Japan next week, too (business over and first back)—dd and I are doing JAL first both ways. Sounds as if DH and son will be on your same flight back from Narita to LAX. I’ll tell them about the wagyu and whiskey!

Reddit people (or anyone here who has tried lately)-- any info about whether people are getting the SUB for a second Citi biz AA card without a mailer?

DH and I both got SUBs from our Citi AA Biz 2 in June. We applied for both with dummy bookings. DH even got a 20k match. That being said, I will probably use mailers in the future, or, at the very least, do the idea I saw here last night to book a large refundable hotel and see if the bonus posts, and if it does then I’ll actually meet MSR and cancel the hotel.
