I may have to do a tour by myself one of these days because Dh is absolutely against it

I wouldn’t force him but if you want to go alone I think it’s cool. SO was actually against going. In Disneyland we were walking back to the Disneyland hotel and a guide stopped us. We were wearing the happily ever after buttons and he asked about them. I was like oh we just got engaged thinking we would get some Disney magic or something but the guy was basically like oh congratulations would you like to do a dvc tour. I had no idea he was even a dvc guide at first lol SO then was like yeah sure lol. We couldn’t say no to him lol he was so nice congratulating us lol On his birthday trip I mentioned before we went I’d like to do a tour again and he was like no I don’t like doing them but I was like let me just see what the offer is lol when he found out it was for the 3 fast passes and $150 he said let’s do it. I think he enjoyed himself. I enjoyed seeing The Aulani, Cooper Creek and Riviera rooms. The only thing is I said we couldn’t afford it and then they show you that you can buy for a car payment every month. Just remember No is a complete sentence

I am driving to CHS Sunday for a week with my 3 littles. I have to go back last weekend in July for my grandma's bday party with 2 of the littles. Flights on SW are about $700 for the 3 of us (incl CP) BUT I just discovered allegiant goes to savannah nonstop for $66 ROUND TRIP that Fri-Mon. I am seriously tempted to do this. Anyone have any terrible allegiant stories? Just a short weekend and quick flight. If it were cancelled I could drive (though trying to avoid that.)

If you want terrible Allegiant stories, google Allegiant and safety. My parents fly them all the time because it goes from their small airport to our small airport. I will not fly them. First because of the iffy safety record and second, when I have priced them out, its not often any cheaper than a legacy carrier. Once you add the flight, your bag or carry-on, your boarding pass, ect. They literally charge for every single thing. There are ways to save on them but its a little like Spirit to me, you have to know what you are getting into. Also, as someone above mentioned, if something goes wrong with one of their planes and delays it, its a pain. They have no reciprocal agreements and no extra planes to pull into service. I don't want to be a downer on them but do your research before you get on and know what your getting into.

I think I’ll end up having to go alone but it won’t be this trip. Today was our only free time. We’re gonna go to hs tomorrow morning and then H2O glow at night

My DH was always against it too. We finally went just because I had pretty much decided we were buying and I made him. Honestly I wish I had just gone by myself years ago...it is always changing and if I had then we would have probably bought sooner when cheaper/less restrictions. Even if you have no intention to buy right now you can just tell them that. If you don’t have DH there I doubt there will be any type of pressure at all. I think it is kind of fun to see the models of the different rooms and an easy way to get a gift card/fastpasses.

Oh no! I'm presuming you're aiming for sometime in April, and Easter falls in between French Quarter Fest and the opening weekend of Jazz Fest. The Riverside Hilton is located alongside the Morial Convention Center, and it has several huge conference rooms in its own right, so there might be a big trade show/conference/convention in town.
Were there any other possibilities?
Spring Break is March 28-April 5. I really want to use Hilton point as I will shortly have 150k more. I may need to change plans but I’ll wait until the points are in my account and then look.

I've only done Chase, but looks like Citi has worked as well. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/ar-i...southern-bank-2-48-apy-on-balances-over-2500/ Apparently the region only applied to the increased APR. If it takes your zip code you should be good.
Thank you :)
Omg the Main Street electrical parade is going back to Disneyland!! I need to get out there in September.
... and now the music is in my head :rotfl:

Between this and the summer Soarin' switch, if I had the time to go to DL this summer (actually, if dh had the time to go with me) I'd be there!

eBags has the mini anti-theft crossbody on sale under $17. I've never seen it this cheap. I have the bigger one that is on sale for around $27. I wanted this smaller one but ended up buying a different bag at TJ Maxx last week for $18 because I didn't think the eBags would ever get marked down. Cut the tags off the other bag already and everything. Oh well.

Remember to go through a portal for more miles per dollar.
I caved. I’m not a big shopper but I am using a purse now that I hate. I bought a cute little bag in Alaska that I love but it’s too small for everyday use. I’m hoping this one is better. Tried going thru Alaska Air portal but then it raised the price $10 and wouldn’t let me use my ebags points. So I did without the portal and paid $22. (No ShopRunner either :( )
I’m holding out for the snack one too!
#snackgoals. Jealous.

Would they be like why the heck does someone in Massachusetts want an account with us???
No kidding!! That's what I would think, but the fact that I live in Wisconsin was never brought up on the phone call. I finally got around to calling today and it took 3 minutes, just some verification questions and then your online access.

Universal Studios Orlando - Florida Resident Pass: Is is better to buy a big 2 park hopper from Undercover Tourist, then upgrade at the gate to AP, or just buy the whole pass at the gate?

Need to match family's 2 Park Premier (no Water Park, but "FastPass" after 4pm).
