Thanks! I have heard to charge things to the room so they code as travel but in my recent experience charging things to my MB the room charges showed up individually as restaurants so I don't believe they coded as travel. Am I doing something wrong?

I didn't see if anyone answered this part, but in my experience when the room charges go to your credit card, it is one lump charge as Walt Disney World Resort. They have not sent charges individually to the card.

December 3rd!!! Yeah, I’m getting married on a Tuesday but everyone is coming from NY and needed to stay longer anyway lol. I’d love to have my friends here come I like you guys better than some people that are coming but SO may find that a little weird lol
I think Tuesdays are the best days for weddings ;)
Y'all have to understand, I'm ready, willing and able to do more but DH isn't. Frustrating!
Many of us have been there, there's still hope he could come around!

I dunno about this one... the original offer was 3% back on all purchases with no sign up bonus. Isn't that a bad deal? The normal sign up bonus is 15,000 UR after $500 spend. You'd have to spend $5,000 on the 3% card to hit the same number of URs. Your break even point is around $10,000 spend - above that you see some better returns.
It would be good for MSing for sure. No cap last year. We paid for a fence with it was like 6k alone.

Maybe I’m not thinking this through right so please tell me if I’m not but this 3% for a year but capped at 20k is actually only 30k above what you’d normally earn on 20k spend. That 30k is $300. When my dd got her cfu back in 11/18, she got 20k bonus after $500 spend. Wasn’t that a much better deal?? Knowing me, I’m missing something big here.
No cap last year. If a cap not a great deal but I got unlimited 3x great for Plastiq, mygiftcard mall, and all non category spend. I made over 20k UR in the first month

In light of my happy dance, one thing that really stepped out on my Disney Visa was my income. DH automatically set it at $50,000 his reasoning "They don't need to know how much you earn." Is his decision going to bite me in the XXX when I apply for a business card, does it matter?

Nah you should be good. I essentially put dh’s income on mine because I don’t make much as a sub

If no cap, it’s a smoking deal. I wanted it last year but dh and I were both over 5/24. Dh could get it this year. Fingers crossed for no cap like last year!

The only thing is Chase doesn't seem to like to give out more than 50% of your income in credit limits, so most try to keep their cards around 30%-50% combined. Most biz cards just need a $5k limit.

I changed my income level before on my apps... when I started this DH and I were engaged, and he wasn't comfortaBle using household income so we just did individual. after the wedding I went to household income on every app since and no questions/issues.

I don’t think it matters...but I’d use your combined household income in the future

Thank you! So helpful!

What I would like to know more about is "Plastiq". We have 2 properties and pay our tax with checks. If I can utilize CC's to pay for them that would be awesome.

Agree with others. Use full household income for best approval odds and keep CLs trimmed.

Thanks wendow for your quick reply. I was approved. Does anyone have any idea on how long the Marriott Bonvoy business takes to arrive?
