I've only made it as far as this post catching up this morning because I felt the need to say immediately- COUNT ME OUT!!!
We're set with the dog! And the two cats... and the three horses...![]()

Wait 2-3 days and check your HH accounts. Amex is usually pretty quick with posting SUBs.
Lol, yes, I know it’ll take a little while. I’m asking how do I know the HH account #? DH didn’t have one previously...
Looks like you can go out of LAX too, but NorCal is cheaper. But if you have to stop anyway, add a DL trip on there with the savings from your cheap flights!Chatter from r/churning:
Possible to fly to Hawaii in a day, impossible coming back since SW does not fly overnight. Have to stop in Cali and then fly back to east the next day.
Edit: Possible to book in a single day, cannot book from ATL, MCO, FLL, etc direct to Hawaii as it comes back with an error. Was able to find from DEN with a stop in OAK so could fly to DEN early morning and then on to HNL.
If you want to make use of it from the East Coast, you're going to need a positioning flight or be ok with spending a day or two in the Bay Area - which could be a fun trip nonetheless... it just depends on how much time you have.

BRING ON THE COMPETING SALES BIG AIRLINES!!
Or don’t bother because those are gonna be sold out any second now...
I found BWI-HNL on the same day, 2 stops (4 hours in OAK lol), leaving BWI at 8something am and arriving at 8something pm. Lowest price was $162/9800 (?) UR. But there wasn't anything in reverse.Chatter from r/churning:

LOL, I am doing exactly that now! But for next year, not this year. Just to see if I could get something at less than 7 months. I don't have enough PTO to do it this year, but next September is our 30th anniversary, and I just got my DP yesterday...I bet I am not the only one that has checked availability at Aulani this morning! I have already run several scenarios, but as @Lain mentioned we would have to fly into OAK one day than onto to HNL. Reverse coming back. It is very tempting! Just not sure I want to spend 10 hours each way in a little seat.
So I just applied and got approved for the BBP for 20k MR. I got a ridiculous credit line considering the tiny amount of revenues I put on my app. I'm thinking sock drawer atfer I meet spend, with maybe a couple hundred per year spend thereafter just to appease the Amex Rats. Is there a reason to ask for a credit line decrease on a business card?
Not the same.
We're also hoping for Aulani next year. Originally we were thinking 2021 because we were going to do DCL next year, but the summer itineraries don't have me all that excited so I think we'll get our OBB refunded and set our sights on Hawaii instead.LOL, I am doing exactly that now! The prices for the next round of Disney Cruises coming out today is… bonkers. And some people are saying “hey, that’s not too bad!” I must be living in another universe. Yikes.![]()

I appreciate your insight. I don't really have a long term plan right now and I was going to take it slowly, but this was a good offer and no AF.Congrats, first! And not necessarily. Apparently for AmEx if they think they gave you too much credit they'll just reallocate from another card to open the new one. It looks like they allocate credit based on your total income, not just the biz revenue, as we've been getting CL's in line with our personal cards, despite only putting the minimum revenue down.
It's not a bad card to throw non-MSR/category spend on as everything gets 2 MR, so I think of it as a 2% card as our minimum redemption for MR points is at 1 cpp. P2 has been keeping the AmEx rats happy, after opening 3 AmEx cards in 2018 nearly all his spend goes on one of them - BCE groceries, Hilton restaurants and gas, BBP most other things I don't have a category for on my cards. It's not terribly much every month, but it's consistent so I'm hoping it keeps him on their good side. Chase hasn't necessarily been kicked to the curb, but it's a complete reversal to how it used to go. I have to check to make sure he throws a few charges over there every once in a while to keep them happy as I want some more UR cards![]()
