Wait so WDW might charge for FastPasses at SWGE? Will this code as travel? Can we use the CSR travel credit for this? I highly doubt these will be cheap. :scared::scared:

DH just grumbled something about "greedy mice" and I'm not even kidding. :faint:

If it’s anything like MaxPass at DLR, which I believe you can add when buying your tickets or after you scan in at entry, then no it won’t code as travel. Adding MaxPass to your tickets after the fact is done in the Disneyland app. No option to use gift cards, can only use a credit card, and basically codes as entertainment.

I had wondered if the Chase offers were regional. We just used an offer for Pies and Pints. I had it on probably 5 cards. It is a very small chain with only 15 locations. Thought it was a weird thing for a Chase offer. I have never heard of Postmates.
Its a delivery service. I only heard of Postmates because I see people on Twitter mention it. (I am not a celebrity follower but I do follow a few famous people like Chrissy Teigen). I see it mentioned more on the west coast. I didn’t realize it was even in Chicago until googling. I guess there is limited use in our area, like if I want McDonalds or Subway delivered.

hi! I found this thread by accident, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve tried to read the entire 485 pages but gave up 20 pages into it and skiped to the last 20 pages. I have no idea what churning is, but it looks exciting. I had to screenshot the page of abbreviations to refer to just to try to decipher what you all were talking about.
Anyhow, I’m planning a trip to Disney for five people in November. We are staying at Pop Century. I’m looking for Tips to save on airfare for all five of us. I’d love to figure out this churning so that we could take more trips.

0/24

Currently I have

Chase Disney visa
2 chase southwest cards
Amex blue cash
Amex everyday card

I received the Marriott 100,000 bonus points offer but we don’t usually stay at the Marriott so I’m not sure this is worth it for us. We typically stay at Hilton hotels.
Thank you!!!
Hi there and welcome to the best thread on the DIS :D You've gotten a lot of great advice from the experienced credit card churners on the thread. I just wanted to chime in and say that I will send you a PM for our private reddit group: DISchurners. We have some of our best tips on there and some guides that could help. Also, depending on which cards you end up going with, you could support one of your fellow DISers when you apply :)

Don’t you just hate when you finish a book and need the next one but you can’t find it online and your libraries don’t have it? I really don’t want to pay for the book. I looked up the closest library that has it and it’s 40 minutes away. I wish I could join their library online lol

There should be a site where people can check out books for others if their library doesn’t have it.

Oh but I love love love sitting out on my extended verandah with COFFEE as the ship sails into Castaway Cay . . . and then there's the adult beach = LOVE! However, I wouldn't pay 16k for it though - lol.

Don't pull me back into my obsession! I'm been staying off the cruise board for the most part and it's been good. Have a short cruise on the Dream booked near the expiration of our placeholder. It doesn't fit in with our other travel plans. I really need to Let It Go. *cue song*

As lovely as a cruise sounds, I think I'd like to experience Greece via land. Its on our insanely long travel bucket list.

Totally agree! Santorini is one of my favorite places on earth. We stayed 2 nights. I imagine a cruise stop would be quite a different experience. I see DCL is also going to Crete. It's a big island with lots to do. My favorite there was Chania, which is 2 hours away from where they port.

@vanjust14 after finally catching up it lost your quote but yes on the Biz Green despite the 5k offer I got 10. That on top of the 20k self referral. That makes it a great value right now.

Brief mention of the increased sign up in IHG card. I am actually considering it for DH. I got mine last April before the changes. There are a ton of IHG properties out west here and I like cards when you get something for the annual fee. A free night would be good. Since it is a MasterCard just so easy to use it and easily make the spend with mortgage and plastiq. (Even if I do hate paying the fees I have got spoiled with paying the mortgage and having something to show for it pointwise rather than just transfer of money).

This is where I would put a meme saying 'shut up and take my money.' If I knew how to put a picture on these boards :love:
Will this one do...

I try to do mine near the first of the month so I don't forget and I try to combine it with some necessary errand. I will either do takeout this weekend or wait until a dr's visit in a couple of weeks. I'm thinking take out as I still have some free slice cards to redeem as well and a few gift cards.

Decided I didn't want to miss out on the credit, and DW came home from a 2 week business trip this afternoon, so I ventured out solo for some quiet time. Got there at 10:45p before their 11p close time. First time being ID'd in a restaurant and my ID was in the car in my coat. Trek back to the parking garage to go it it. I guess I don't fit the profile of someone carrying a Rose Gold metal card as she was clearly checking it out and giving me the eye. I am curious if the charge will use the February credit or if it will take away from March.

Tempted for a second to just have a slice while there...but way to heavy at this time of night.

Can someone explain how Informed Delivery works? I mailed two flat-rate priority USPS boxes to my aunt (of decorated MB's!) this past Monday. I've never used the machine at the PO before so I didn't think anything of the fact that it didn't print me a tracking page or receipt. And I didn't think to snap a pic of the labels with the tracking numbers. So, one box delivered Wednesday and we were hopeful that the other one was just 'running late' and would be delivered today. Nope. So, I told my aunt to sign up for Informed Delivery so she could see what packages are tracked to be delivered to her address. Nothing shows. So, does Informed Delivery show if a box is coming tomorrow or Saturday, or JUST day of?

Thanks for any guidance. I'm all out panicking...

I saw that @Lain had made some comments already but just wanted to add this.

If I remember right, anything pending will not show up when you sign up (packages already moving through the system) but any new packages entered into the system will show as shipped and then give an estimated date.

If only...
Can we also share library info so you can check if your library has my book I need??? :rotfl2: (only half joking though)

I'm kind of a freak when it comes to getting books. I read them so fast and need new ones all the time. Unfortunately, they usually tend to be newer books that the library doesn't have yet.

Is anyone else going through FOMO decisions on the upcoming Marriott category changes on March 5th? Part of me really wants to snag more reservations at an aspirational property for 60k per night with 5th night free before cat 8 comes into play and they go up to 85k per night. The timing that I would need to book it the furthest out that I can won't work realistically for 5 nights and I can't even decide where I'd want to try and book anyhow. I'm still thinking I can make a long weekend work, but where? Ugh.
Yes major FOMO. Looking at the Ritz in Aruba. Easy trip and totally relaxing.

I swear I get a discover it mailer every week. I don’t need these! Can I sell them lol? Would anyone even buy them?
Tell me about it!! We are literally swimming in Discover It mailers. Mostly addressed to DH.
