Thank you so much for this summary. DH has the AT&T deal on his Biz Plat, but it says 10,000 MRs instead of dollars. At this point we will take whatever we can get. I don't see the Uber/Uber Eats on any of my cards.

For the Sam's Club deal, can I get a $50 GC if I'm not a member?

It doesn’t appear to be available via self referral from what I can see (check me on that though). Annual fee is waived in yr 1 and it seems like a really good offer. When I did a delta biz card it was for 50k miles for $2k spend and I remember that being a high offer at the time. 70k for $4k seems good to me.

I never get any decent Amex offers anymore. I’ve also noticed the least of my used cards have very few offers period. Like my Gold has a giant list of (crap). The rest have like… 4. Anyone else notice this? Probably another way Amex is working to scale back deal hunters and evil churners like us.

Damn, are they waiving the AF? I have the personal Gold but I've been waiting on a Biz offer worth going for. Also do we know how Delta is with allowing 6 cards? Should I cancel the personal gold and go for the Biz gold and hope?

They will not allow 6, I know this from personal experience LOL.

FINALLY! Heard back from Citi approved for the Citi Biz Platinum Select with a limit of 20K. Not sure what the heck the hold up was but happy to get it!

@speedyfishy bummer about CIP. What about BBP cashing out to Schwab (2.5%) plus ebates 1% cashed out to MRs and again Schwab? If you had the ebates card even better.

AMEX offers - got Walmart (boo - mine doesn’t even do groceries) and Uber. Bummed we didn’t get Sams. Can I get an Uber gc to trigger it???

Yeah, I haven't reread the Handmaid's Tale since I had kids - don't think I would be able to take it as an adult (I can't watch the show either - kids in peril/separated from parents is a hard no from me in entertainment). I love Memoirs of a Geisha - its time for me to reread that one, if I can rescue it from DD's room. My copy is falling apart - I may need to get a new one! We seem to have similar taste in books - have you read Kate Ross? Historical fiction mysteries - there are only 4, but they are amazing. The first one is Cut to the Quick.

The show is... oof. It's incredible and deserves all the awards, but it's SO hard to watch sometimes. DH jokes that he has to steer clear of me for a while after I watch an episode because I'm so mad at the patriarchy


Haven't heard of Kate Ross! Historical fiction is my theme for the year though, so I'll have to check that out. I'm making my annual retreat to my favorite discount book fair this weekend, so hoping to pick up lots of goodies.

I saw you over on the 2020 watch thread. I'm interested in Greece and Norway. So I just saw the cost prediction thread for Greece... and people are saying $16k for 2 adults in a balcony. That is just straight up bonkers to me. I know I'm cheap, but good gravy how do people afford this stuff? At least if you sink $16k into DVC you get decades out of it!

Paying personal AT&T phone lines should trigger this deal, and I don’t feel like putting very much more spend on my CIP after today.

Yeah, but the BBP’s 2x MR is limited to only $50k/year. I think you’re doing much higher volume.
