Yes, but it is an older hotel. It therefore has an older style although I feel it is well kept and I've been always treated nicely there. It is at the end just before the park and the Marriott Suites are across the road on the bay side. There are restaurants that you can walk to, but I haven't walked to any of them. I am planning to try the Columbia restaurant that is nearby on my next visit.

The sand is right in front of the hotel and there are no hotels blocking the Gulf view, but it's a bit of a walk out to the water - not a problem for me but some have complained. There are chaises for rent by the water and also snacks and drinks in season.
Thanks. I have it booked for the moment since I can cancel if we decide to do something else. The reviews looked ok and someone commented on getting a room upgrade with his platinum status and then lounge access. Free parking is a nice perk too.

Thinking about going for the Citi biz AA card. I don’t really want to get the personal since that will bring me to 5/24. I could always apply for the BArclay biz AA. I already have 2 personal barclay cards though. One from 2004 that I never use and the Arrival plus in Jan. How hard is it to get a BArclay biz?

We seem to have more recent DPs on Citi than Barclays. Lots have been successful with Citi with very few denials/issues. Barclays seems to be a little more hit or miss. @Natgridenergy got auto approved recently - @wendow has been pending for what seems like a week now.

Soooo I had csr booked on an AP rate for 3/4-3/7 and then dd’s Schedule came out last night and she is off 3/7 and 3/8. I am having a heck of a time finding any reasonably priced availability for any combo of 3-4 nights mid to late next week even with it Green Day’s. Ugghh. There is availability for the week of 3/18 when my boys are on spring break tho and that is a red week. Weird. I’d rather not go that wee because I’d have to buy them tickets. Anyone know any tricks? I’d even do full price at a value but nada.

For those of you with upcoming Disney trips:

1) If you are a March FP booking window (May trip) you might want to check and see if your FP window opened early. Things are a bit glitchy right now :)

2) if you have a split stay, make sure you’re aware of the FP booking issues (split stays are not considered continuous for FP booking any more). Sorry to spread bad news there.

Instant approval. 5k revenue, 3 yrs business and Other Professional Services.

At least you're getting SOMETHING.... Im in a dry hole.

How many cards have you opened as of recent? They denied me for too many cards in a short time. When I explained that I had gone through a divorced and needed credit in my name they didn't care.

It won’t let me scroll past March for FP :(

I’d start putting some spend on both your Barclay cards. I’m sure you don’t want to close that one from 2004 and I’d be hesitant to as well.

I also have two Barclay personal cards. One from 9/17 and one from 12/18. My AA biz app from them is pending, as @SouthFayetteFan mentioned. After reading how hard it is to get three cards from Barclays, I’m not holding on to much hope they will approve me.

I’m mainly upset about the split stay FPS because we always book split stays and now will have less of a chance at FPS just because we like trying different resorts

I'm strongly considering going full grAAvy with personals too. If I do that, I'll prob keep DW where she is so that she can re-up the SW CP at the beginning of 2020. I'm thinking this has got to go away soon so why not scoop up as many as I can now.
You and I are thinking alike! I’m also considering hopping aboard full steam ahead and no looking back. It will come to an end, like all good things in this game, and my biggest regret in previous years with these opportunities, is that I didn’t go bigger. My dh is 2/24 and I may not need to have him board. Still debating a lot!

We always do a split as well. We’ve only done one trip ever and stayed at the same resort. It’s part of the fun to us, even though my dh complains about having to pack up 6 peoples things :D I’m totally annoyed with Disney over this but I don’t think I’m gonna let them take yet another thing away from me. I’ll just have to plan our park days differently. We will see.

I will be staying here in June as well. DH has a work conference there. So it will be a free mini vacation for me. And he will have companion pass then so with work paying for his ticket I will fly CP for free. Not sure if any kids will join us or just 2 of us.

We normally stay for 6-7 days and do 3 or 4 at each resort. It’s gonna be hard to get FPS for fop, sdd, and 7dmt now. We love split stays though. It’s so fun to try new resorts

Question about boarding the GrAAvy train....both DH and I got the mailers but they are the crappy 10k for $500 spend on the personal card. I've read the thread on the the DIS-churners and I'm still confused, if I use this mailer with the 12 digit code will they stop sending the mailers? We get them quite consistently but my DH had been throwing them out before I told him I needed to look at them. Or can we use these mailers and they might keep sending them and thus keep getting card after card? Wondering if I should find a higher public offer first and then use the mailer? We are both pretty far over 5/24 now and there isn't too much out there that is appealing. We're both out of the Marriott cards for a while due to taking an upgrade offer. I wouldn't really bother except I have summer camps to pay for soon and could easily knock out a few MSR's.

I've stayed there as SPG and have gotten upgraded to a junior suite with a gulf view from the tennis view points room. The junior suite had a king and a sofa and two chairs plus a table and chairs and a counter area. The sofa was a sleeper, but I would imagine this hotel has rollaways.

The lounge was nice and basic but very enjoyable. Evening they served sandwiches plus cheese and crackers, sweets and fruit which were enough for dinner and the reason I didn't go out to my planned restaurant. Breakfast was continental.
