if you are playing this game or collecting cards as a hobby . one should know in the back of their mind that at some point the well is going to go dry . take a look around . the writing has been on the wall for some time now example the "Chase App Gaming Language" Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad . Folks are all gimme gimme . mine mine . y'all like that feeling when you get a new card and are all put out when you are denied . chasing that rush (a new card) only lasts for a little while . I don't like being told "no soup for you" either but the trashing of the Bank is a bit much sometimes . some only want more and more again . At some point the internet is going to break this game . so enjoy it while it lasts .

It's Summer "Mommy Points" Hull who wrote the article. Bankrate bought the Mommy Points blog and added it to TPG as part of "TPG Family."

I'm also somewhat dismayed by the number of folks over on Flyertalk who have called Amex to ask why their gift card purchase hasn't credited. Rule 1 anybody?

Whoop! Passports do not take long. It's only been 2.5 weeks and they should be in tomorrow's mail. I'm impressed. TSA has GE appts for the 21st, I suppose that depends upon the possible shutdown #2.

Has anyone used Navy Federal's TSA credit on the Flagship card? I can't find any real details on it. I assume it's one per entire acct, I have 3 AUs on that card. My two adult kids could use GE, so was just kind of curious if the AUs get the credit as well. I'm assuming no considering the fee on that card is only $49. The big kids can pay for their own or get a card to cover it. I have myself, dh and the littles covered.

I have Hhonors points through my Amex Hhonors Ascend card. I know my free night certificates expire, but will my points expire (assuming I’m actively earning points with my cc).

As long as you have an open card that earns Ultimate Rewards (there are 7 cards I believe) then you’re safe!

CIP is the Chase Ink Preferred Card. It is a business card that has one of the most lucrative offers out there.

I’ve been playing this game in some fashion since 2011. I’ve been hardcore since 2015. 2019 is going to be one of my most lucrative years. I know numerous others here have been at this for years. Banks will always need new customers and the signup bonus isn’t going anywhere. If you’re savvy and resourceful, willing to adapt, and up to speed on the rules, the game will go on

CIP is Chase Ink Preferred...
As long as you have your Chase CSR card the points wouldn’t expire

Have you used any of the airline fee credits?

If not, you may have luck chatting with Amex and asking a rep if they would change your airline selection as your travel plans for the year have changed. YMMV, but I’ve had success previously. Amex reps seem pretty accommodating on this if you haven’t used any of your airline fee credits for the year.

Successes today: got new passport photo taken. Downgraded CSR to 2nd Freedom card (AF posted 11/1, so well see if theres a refund. I used travel credit and global entry credit. Have the 2nd card in DHs name so even if I dont get a refund for AF, i wouldn't really use it anymore anyways). Wrapped and boxed last set of Christmas gifts... Ordered some travel size makeup brushes and a new mascara and they came today. Bought Costco size jar of chocolate covered almonds.

Failures: tried to call Travellers from when we got rear ended last month, basically was like since you're not our customer our business hours are over. Was on hold with Costco to transfer the cruise for 45min before giving up bc the hold music was giving me a headache. Still cant get last three MCGCs registered online, will have to call. Forgot the SW cards which is what I paid with for a few items to return.

I should try Marriott now about my referral points, but I'm tired and my head hurts. And DH is working late, so that means l can binge watch Unlsolved Mysteries which DH does not appreciate like I do

Yes. Lounge access is refunded. At the airport that is. Not membership.
