Definitely. I figure, there are so many loopholes we (or maybe just me) exploit in this - buying AA GCs for airline credits, cashing out resort credits, etc - and it's all a gamble. It could stop working at any time. I do all of it with that full knowledge.
If they start clawing back the AA money I'm going to be really, really unhappy.

Or you have me who legit bought seat upgrades and is fighting for the money. Credit forced applied then taken from my checking anyway.
Disney cruise today tho!!!!
Have a magical cruise!
Ahh that is great! I need to look into Swagbucks. I am sad I do not have an Amex (mainly because of all these great deals!), but I am scared and not sure where to start with all the bonus denials. The original idea was to go with a BBP. I guess no bonus shouldn't make Amex too upset. I also contemplate going for the best bonus to ensure I at least get that since it would be my first Amex.
I'd go for the largest bonus possible. I was lucky and was pre-approved (or whatever they call it) for the 100K MRs on the AMEX Platinum so I jumped at that offer. That amount goes a long way towards a premium overseas ticket for me. I'd go for the larger bonuses first so that, it/when they do stop you, you're not missing much. Next I went for the 50K MR on the Gold. DH already had a plat, but he got the 100K MRs on the Biz Plat and also the 50K on the Gold. We see one Plat and at least one Gold as keeper cards, though, so YMMV.
DH just got approved for the Barkley's AA card. His Citi AA card AF is due in March. I can't believe I did this after swearing off new cards for the year. I'm now thinking I should get one also. 120k AA points goes quite a way.
Nice! Those points do go a long way!
