I lost a friend today...

Earlier this evening, my friend who lives in Florida called me to let me know that a mutual friend of ours passed away today. He was only 27...he was younger than me. I'm in shock. He worked in entertainment at WDW and that's how I met him. I'm sitting in PA in shock and I'm missing my friends from down there more than ever now. I also knew Javier, the character that was killed in 2004 before the parade step off. I feel the same way now. I'm in PA and everybody who I know who knows him is in Florida.

I just had to write this because I know other people on this board will understand.

Yes, I've talked to two of my good friends from down there. They're going to keep me updated with information as far as services. It's sinking in a little more.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone who is physically far away but emotionally very close. You just want to go there and make it right.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. They are holding services in PA tomorrow and I was able to take time off of both jobs in order to be able to go. My DBF took off from work so he can be there with me. I know I'm going to do a lot of crying tomorrow, but I have to pay my final respects to my friend.
