My parents just came in to a bit of money and it has been their dream to visit Hawaii. It is tough to find a discussion board as good as this one for Hawaii.
Does anyone have a forum they use?
Also what suggestions would anyone have for resorts, activities or any thing else? Any info would help. They have only just begun to think about this!

I would contact your travel agent for brochures etc and if you belong to AAA order a Hawaii tour book -- also, just look on the internet searching keyword HAWAII and I'm sure something will pop up. Good Luck!!

I'd be happy to make some suggestions. How deluxe do they want to go? and what islands? Kahala Mandarin Oriental in Honolulu has fabulous rooms and grounds. Hyatt Kauai has to die for grounds as well. Maui has many great resorts as does the big island. email me for more info/opinions. Karen

There has been a recent post by "Dean", (last couple of days I believe) and he just gave an opinion on several Hawaian resorts. You might want to PM and ask him for more info.

For general info on HI and for timeshare info, go to Timeshare Users Group (TUG) at www.tug2.net where they have a HI board. Recommendations would depend on what they want to do, how active they are, whether they've even been to the islands, how much they want to spend and how long they are going far. There really are too many options to list generally here.
