I know there are other girls out there like me who have their wedding planned out..

You know, I haven't really ever thought about it. I guess I will now, though because I'm bored.

this gown

for my bridesmaids (in canary)

for my flower girls (assuming I know two adorable little girls)(in canary)

my veil

I'd love to get married on a beach. I too, will be barefoot at my wedding.

Like a PP said, I'd always dreamt of having a Mad Tea Party style reception. A loooooooooooong table that's two people wide (so my husband and I can sit together at the head) and everybody sitting together instead of at sepearate tables.

Oh I almost forgot dates (:
I've always pictured myself getting married on June 8th, or 13th. No idea why, it's just that those dates stand out in my head.

Did I mention my honeymoon will be in Disney? Or maybe Hawaii... Not sure yet.

I think the groom will have a tux, with either a purple, this color blue/green:
6EB7C060CC6F4A7391932892CACBB706.ashx
, or red vest thingy (Dunno what they're called :rotfl:) and matching tie.

Oh for our first dance I'm thinkin' A Whole New World (Violin), So This Is Love (instrumental), Beauty and the Beast (instrumental), or another classic song. Man, my hubby better love Disney like I do! haha.

Bridesmaids dresses: I think I'm going to let my girls pick out the style of their dress, but I'm gonna pick the color. I want them to be comfortable, and like the dress.

For the flower girl's dress, I'm thinking something like this:

or

or

For my hair, something like this:
wedding-hairstyle.jpg

Soft, pretty, and totally how I would wear my hair on a day-to-day basis, only nicer.

Bridesmaids hair: Down and curly/wavy. Comfortable, and natural-looking.

Makeup: I plan on crying at my wedding, so waterproof makeup for me ;)

haha. i love how for the disney weddings you can have characters come. my mom knows i want a cinderella wedding (i want it for deeper reasons than just liking the fairytale) and suggested that cinderella and prince charming come to the reception.
my response: uh. mother. I am cinderella at my wedding. not some other chick. :<

patti: i love the canary yellow. that is way pretty.

one time in disney, when i was little, we were staying at the grand floridian and saw the end of the most beautiful wedding EVER.

it was amazing .

at the end the bride & groom rode away in a glass Cinderellas carriage pulled by six white horses.
it was absolutely amazing.

thats how my dream wedding would be , :D

now i need to find a rich hubby xD

Let's see, I don't have that much planned yet but I do have certain details:

My dream would be Disney wedding, but because of $$$ (future teacher here...) and my religion, it will end up in the church I have gone too all my life
It will be a May wedding so the altar will be surrounded by fresh flowers.

My dress will be very princess like. White and long with a matching white veil that is worked into my up do.

Traditional music at the ceremony and the reception will be in the ballroom of the Hilton hotel in the city, the same room that my parents held theirs. There will be one big head table, the rest small circular tables all with matching floral centerpieces. Dancing, cake cutting, and all the other tradition will be there.

The oddest part that I will demand be there is an empty chair on the altar next to the priest's during the ceremony. It will be there for a priest that was at my church but died a few years ago unexpectedly. I always planned for him to preside at my wedding, so instead he will have a special place at it.

Oh ya, and honeymoon at WDW. I don't care what my husband says...if he want's me he's going to Disney World and getting the bride and groom ears.

I just got the image of you and your hubby getting married dressed as Cinderella and Prince Charming. It made me smile at the geekery that would be involved.

Geekery? Us Disney-obsessed kiddies call it Genius-ery. :teeth:

but its 500.00 for thirty minutes, and the thirty minutes starts when they leave their dressing room. ;)

i haven't been to very many weddings, nor have i thought about my own lol. but one question... is it traditional for the bride to dance with her dad at the reception? just curious because my mom's friend is getting re-married soon and she and her dad don't get on well.

DAMN YOU JULIE! Now I'm going to be planning my perfect wedding all night, or else it's going to bug me if I don't!
Alright, I want two weddings, a small intimate one and then a large grand one. This'll be the first.

would it surprise you at all that me and this guy (who thinks he's going to marrry me) have already dressed up as cindy and charming? surprise? at all? xD

I'd like something casual and low-key. Outdoors would be nice, but I know I'd worry a TON about the weather (rain mostly. Clouds wouldn't kill me).

Ideal dress would be light and very comfortable. I refuse to wear uncomfortable clothing on a regular basis, wedding days are no different.

Wedding party - I find them unnecessary. I don't really get what they do...help the bride and groom? I'd rather have my friends and family relax and have a good time than set up than be saddled with responsibility.

Flowers:
Something small. I love the look of calla lilies, but I also think gerbera daisies are bright and fun.

Music/Dancing: Never really put much thought into this. I had thought about the dances, but I really hate social dancing so I'm really not sure I'd even have a dance floor. Who knows...although I do love the song "I loved her first" by Heartland as a Daddy/daughter dance.

Food and Cake: I like the idea of a cocktail party reception - little finger foods and drinks and whatnot. Easier to mingle and move around. Cake is a tricky issue for me. I truly hate buttercream frosting, and I really only like marble cake (chocolate and vanilla swirled). Cupcakes/a cupcake tower would be a fun idea too.

ITA. I'm going to make it VERY VERRRRRY clear to the DJ or whatever, that those stupid dances (chicken dance, electric slide..etc) will NOT be played at my wedding..those are the most ridiculous things ever.

YES! That's not the way I want to remember everyone having fun and stuff. It just looks really dumb.

Exactly. Especially when the grandparents and older adults try to do the Cha Cha Slide..I don't want to see them "cha cha real smooth" etc. Ew. It's just awkward and embarrassing for everyone. lol

Or the "hands on your knees" part. Cause everyone knows that THAT'LL be precisely when the photographer will decide to take a shot.;)

:lmao: Oh gawd! I remember my mom and aunts trying to do that at my brother's wedding last year..that was hilarious

LOL TY! It is SO HARD to find something to go along with that dress but I absolutely LOVE it. <3

The dress is unique, so I do see how it's hard to find something.
I guess you'll have to custom make some stuff..yay! :goodvibes
