if I may direct your attention to the second countdown below.

We are going to ALASKA on a 14 day/13 night cruisetour on the Coral Princess. fire4506 and his wife are going along. We have our cabins already and now all we have to do is get more and more excited:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

You may now return to Disney Cruise posting.

Hi Fireplug,

We are doing a 7-night Alaskan cruise on Royal Carribean (ROS) about a year from now. Its so weird to have something other than DCL planned. Although we have only done two DCL trips, with a third planned in Feb, I just feel like WDW/DCL is such a perfect fit for us.

I sure wish DCL would get a new ship underway with an Alaskan itinerary! That would make it so much easier for us Dissers;)

We agree PiperG, unfortunately we want to go then and they will not have a new ship built by then. So......

I guess we will have to go back when Disney does Alaska;)

Fireplug,
Who did you book your cruisetour through?
We are looking into an Alaskan cruise (I posted this on another thread)
Princess is our first choice, since we enjoyed our trip on the Grand so much.
Their cruise tours look awesome. Will yours be north or south bound?

After being on 35+ cruises to the Caribbean (as a kid, with my parents, growing up) I finally got to go on an Alaskan cruise for my honeymoon. It was awesome and we had fantastic weather too! Have fun! (I don't remember the ship but it was RCCL)

Enjoy!!! Our Alaska cruise was our favorite cruise to date, and I'm not really a winter or outdoorsy type person! There is just something about the beauty there that is just amazing!

I highly recommend doing the excursions. There is so much to see, and you really can't see it by walking around town. We kayaked in Juneau, did the Pilot's choice glacier landing in Skagway (two different landings) and went Salmon fishing in Ketchikan.

I can't wait to go back someday and take the kids when they are a little older!

We are doing the Disney 7 day this year for OUR anniversary, then Alaska next year. But I wish there was a Disney cruise to Alaska 'cause that's the one I would be on!
