I know its far away but here is what I am thinking for next oct. What do you think?

I haven't been before, but think Jody summed it up well. The food isn't free, but from what I've read, you can usually use snack credits for much of the food. The wine is definitely not free and not covered by any of the snack credits.

It's at Epcot World Showcase and it runs through October.

we dont drink so wine is not needed for us.

Same here. I'm more interested in trying some of the foods from the other countries, especially those not at Epcot. I've seen a few trips reports lately with some of the food samplings from F&W and it looks amazing.

Now I think that adds up a bit better....What do you think?

looks good! :thumbsup2

I think the revision looks much better, but still seems like a lot of dining to me. But it could just be personal preference. Our family added the DDP a few years ago for a 4 night spring break trip, and we felt like we had to curve all of our plans around where we had to eat next- not much time for relaxing or doing things on-the-fly. So now we only use it for shorter trips and are a bit more strategic about where we have reservations.
And the F&W Fest is our favorite time of year to go, regardless of if you drink or not. We've gone for the past 6 years at least once each year. Such wonderful little plates to be had around the world! ;o)

Small child?....She will be 14.. Is that a small child?

Sorry! You caught me before I edited my post :) I originally saw 4 not 14. I should really change my contacts out ;)

The revisions look good. On your Epcot day use some of your snack credits for the Food and Wine Festival and try different foods from other countries for your lunch. My kids aren't adventerous eaters, but they love trying new stuff at Epcot for some reason.

We'll be there the same time as you.

You have A LOT of character meals (all meals except for one). I have an 18 year old that loves character meals but we typically only do 1 character meal per day for breakfast. We find the breakfast food to be better and there are tons of great restaurants for lunch and dinner. I would HIGHLY recommend 1900 Park for breakfast on your last day (that is my DD favorite). I would not suggest Chef Mickey for dinner at all. IMHO the food isn't good and while you will get to see the characters you will get to see similar characters at Tusker House. Also, the characters at CRT and Akershus are basically the same. If I were you I would choose CRT and change Akershus to something else. Now this is my personal opinion. When we go to DW, we like to eat at both character and non-character meals. However, since this is your first trip, you may want to do things differently. I would look at allears.com for a better idea of what the restaurants serve.

Depending on our arrival time
Snaks for breakfast
(L) Crystal Palace
(D) Cinderella's Royal table for DD's B-day dinner *I'd put the CP for breakfast here, as the amount of food might be a bit much before a big dinner...of course, I don't know how much time you have between the meals :)

Oct 17th
(B) Donalds Dinning at Tusker House
Snaks for lunch * we usually share something at Flame Tree BBQ or Restaurantasarus after we've done the early Tusker breakfast. Both have nice seating and the food is a bit more interesting than the usual.
(D) Chef Mickeys

Oct 18th
(B) Princess Story Book in Epcot
Snaks for lunch

see my notes above. It definately looks better now than it did. Remember, sharing meals/snaks can be a great way to make sure you get to try things but not overfill! Have a great time.

The only thing with day 1 is we do not know when our flight will be getting into orlando just yet so breakfast may not even be possible that day well maybe just at the airport.
